America Has Peaked
March 12, 2010 278 CommentsI read somewhere that an obesity epidemic is an indication that an empire, or dominant country or whatever you want to call it, is on a decline.
That got me thinking, wow, there are a ton of fat Americans nowadays. Does this mean that the US is on its way down, too?
There seems to be a lot of evidence that America has seen its peak. I hope it hasn’t. Because, you know, I’m an American and all. What do you think?

America is the largest consumer of most resources. America has committed the worst acts of terrorism this world has seen. The Iraq war being the biggest. Also, plundering of many other nations, particularly Latin and South America. No, they don’t tell you about this in school — it’s all “we are the best” and “we pledge allegiance to the war/death machine”.
[..YouTube..] America peaked a long time ago, in real terms. But the last decade or so of debt spending has given the illusion that we are still on top of things. WAKE UP people, we lost it a long time ago. Most definitely after we plundered and pillaged Iraq. But likely as far back as Franklin D. Roosevelt. After him it was downhill. But big banks and business give us the illusion being okay.
