Corporations are Soylent Green!
September 30, 2011 175 CommentsI’ve encountered corporations a lot this week, in a lot of different ways. Like all of us. Because there is no getting away from them. Ever. As I was walking around Times Square recently, I just found it overbearing. I felt like all the logos and mascots and music and corporate branding coming at me from every angle wanted to destroy me in some way.
And then I remembered Mitt Romney’s recent statement, that “Corporations are people, too,” and the old Soylent Green quote came to mind, that Soylent Green is people…and it just hit me. Corporations are our real-life soylent green!
I can’t be the first person to have that thought. No way. Not a chance.
[..YouTube..] We are, categorically, the most insane civilisation that has, and ever will, exist on this planet. If I was an E.T., I would just fly straight by this planet…cannot even live with a little less selfishness…hmmm…

But at least they had something more precious than the Earth called ‘money’ in the 12 digit figures – 1,000,000,000,000. “Phew…(wipes preverbal sweat from his brow)…and I thought we lost everything.” At least we got money, and gold, and silver, and…NO habitable Earth…what…no habitable Earth!!! WTF!!! Oh well, at least we had a good time…WHAT only around %5 of the population really had fun? Oh wow, we smashed the Earth up for a few people

[..YouTube..] I do not feel that the Occupy movement will topple/change the Capitalist system as we see it today, from the top. Only if everyone collectively boycotted the evil corporations would we stand a chance. Even then, this would not work with big oil companies…they will go on to they run out…the same with other companies. We will plunder this Earth until the last ore has been dug and the last drop of oil taped.
