I keed, I keed! Mostly! The title of this video should really be, “Toy Fair 2010,” but I went with something that seemed a little more appropriate to my line of questioning. SO…yeah…I went to this year’s Toy Fair at the Jacob Javits Center in NYC, and it was AWESOME. I’m not sure how they keep all the electronic noise and video game stuff out, but the people at the Toy Fair really know how to put on a classy show. This, despite of how much I swore at everyone and almost mowed everyone down on THE BEST BIKE EVER.
The bottom line is, I don’t have childrens, and since I don’t, I tend not to find them terribly charming or engaging. I mean, I love the ones I’m related to. They’re so awesome, I don’t even think of them as kids. And my friends’ kids: they’re all pretty great, too. I’m talking about the childrens in the thousand-dollar strollers that clog up Brooklyn, or the precocious little effers standing in your way at Barnes and Noble. New York City seems to be inundated with lousy childrens. So THOSE, I don’t like.
But the people who came out to this year’s Toy Fair all had really fun toys that seemed like they had one thing in common: to make the childrens of the world smarter. Better. Nicer. Less jerky. So, even though I still do not love the childrens, I left the fair this year feeling optimistic for their futures. And that is a very nice thing.

Yeouchh! I guess you really shocked the interviewees with your “kids suck” line. I am glad they overlooked it,or went along with the premise.
Several of those items have video possibilties. The wind ups would make interesting props on a You Tube video.
Was that trike easy to pedal around? I am in the market for a recumbant bicycle,and that looked interesting.

Kids are bliss & adorable! But society in these days force them to grow up too fast. I just feel sorry for them! On another hand, lazy ignorant parents who think internet is a reliable babysitter and video games are the best friends of their kids, these parents are the ones to blame.

[..YouTube..] i clicked on the vid link just to see what arguments the resident brought on…. not a lot ….. but even so, i used to agree with her…… till a few months ago… when i got called daddy, by …. not my own …. i almost cried ….. even tho the kid could probably teach the devil himself, a few tricks … on one of her bad days. but it’s the good days that make the whole thing worthwhile … parents might agree with me on that one
