I attended VideoNuze’s Broadband Video Leadership Evening to find out what some high-powered executives in the entertainment industry make of broadband video, and I have to say it wasn’t as dull as all that sounds. It does help that I’m hopelessly geeky, of course, but really – I saw some cool people in the audience digging it, too. Basically, all of the entertainment industry is finally ready to start digging into the digital space for REALZ. Everyone has been talking about it forever, but when you have giant companies that have been running the same model forevs, and there is a ton of money involved, and the decision-makers are all pretty rich and comfy, well – why change? I think that mentality has made the industry so slow to respond to the Interwebical explosion that consumers have been heavily engaged in for a while now. But, all that’s water under the bridge, because all the execs at the Leadership Evening all agreed that broadband video must now be integral to their business models. Yay for me, little digi-girl! I’m not sure if it’s just that they can finally hear the consumer demand and see the digital space can therefore turn a considerable profit or if it’s just a heck of a lot cheaper to produce for the digital space and everyone is broke right now. I care not. The bottom line is attention is finally turning toward the place I live and work, and the demand for what I do is finally matching what I long ago bet my livelihood on. Now we just need all the hardware and advertising models and metrics to catch up and get into place, so everyone knows the rules and can get back to smooth running machines! Wouldn’t that be nice? A little standardization? If the Leadership Evening panel was any indication, we just might start seeing more of that soon. Now, watch and learn, and tell me if you understand the Sodapop reference, you old farts!

Yeah, but Prescott Bush and co had funded Hitler from the start. then the powers that be(jesuits) just shuffled the Nazis into the world wide secret service operation for the Vatican. CIA, MI5…,The Catholics are the Nazis. Nazism is a spin off of Roman Catholicism, that’s a hidden fact. See Operation PaperClip, Adolf Hitler was allowed to escape to Argentina, as were many Nazis. Then he traveled abroad, even in the US. If you’re grateful, do something about that God awful Pope and Vatican.

BTW broadband will be ripe for every transmission when the packet traffic could be controlled totally and how the packet could be packed individually and sent simultaneously without any interference one to another. That way, there will be no lag whatsoever in every connection built.

You should do some research on how The Blair Witch Project was directed. The actors had no idea what the plot was, opened “clues” as to what they were supposed to do next etc. Nothing like that had ever been done before and that “idea” was adopted, modified, and turned into reality TV as we know it today.

Sodapop dropped out of high school after the death of his parents, and works full-time as a mechanic at a DX gas station. He’s carefree and happy-go lucky. He understands Darry and Ponyboy better than they sometimes understand each other, and he sticks up for Ponyboy when Darry gets mad. The Outsiders NICE!

The people that started it intended to take over and gain control through the military and schools, and they did. Just research how evil and fake it is. A false religion unto itself. Scientology may be another satanic cult, but they are right about psychiatry, hence the reason Tom Cruise gets so much shit.

I don’t think so. I studied psychology, not psychiatry, but it seems to me that they modify their regulations each year to become more ethical in experimentation. I’ve been to psychiatrists and they helped a lot. So I don’t really see the evil in it unless you go to them without educating yourself. :/

I think that it’s a deck of cards, built on power, greed, manipulation, coercion, corruption, deception, and most important of all, indoctrination. if they are “nice” to their “patients”, they’re probably still a bunch of yuppie douchebags. That’s just what I think though.

Of course you always want to be “nice” to your customers, clients and patients… I think most services are full of douchebags.I liked the psychiatry because it helped me with my problem. Not because I liked my doctor. In fact, I really disliked her. I changed doctor.
