You Are Currently Watching: America Has Peaked

I read somewhere that an obesity epidemic is an indication that an empire, or dominant country or whatever you want to call it, is on a decline.

That got me thinking, wow, there are a ton of fat Americans nowadays. Does this mean that the US is on its way down, too?

There seems to be a lot of evidence that America has seen its peak. I hope it hasn’t. Because, you know, I’m an American and all. What do you think?

[..YouTube..] The organ music was kind of creepy. However, I think we still have a chance to turn it around, I don’t think we’ll take it though. It will get worse before getting better, but maybe we will be better for it.

  2. skoi87 Says:

[..YouTube..] everyone hates america now i dont personally but i can see why others do

  3. Brulluhman Says:

[..YouTube..] Maybe it’s time for a new worldwide economical system.America and peace..?? Hmm.. that would be interesting.

  4. MrCaltec Says:

[..YouTube..] Peaks and valleys. Lets work towards another peak. I tired of being hungry

  5. fredooooooo Says:

[..YouTube..] America has certainly peaked in terms of beeing the most dominant nation on earth. Since the end of the cold war the US has been the only superpower. That is over, with sleeping giants like China and India waking up. The current crisis speeds up this process. However, that doesnt mean apocalypse is behind the corner. There will be economic growth again. The problem for america is, how to make sure every american benefits from this economic growth, not just the top 10%.

  6. Yamakashi1 Says:

    [..YouTube..] ur fat too ,not?

  7. martini1179 Says:

[..YouTube..] America as number one? What are we number one at? War spending and movie exports?

  8. VonHelton Says:

[..YouTube..] The 2010 election may very well be our last chance to change this nation for the better. All “career” politicians MUST GO.*WE* enforce the term limits! We do this by VOTING THE BUMS OUT!Anyone who is a career politician (yes, even Ron Paul the 33rd degree Mason!) must be VOTED OUT.In their place we WRITE IN people in our communities that we think would do a better job.DO NOT USE A NORMAL BALLOT. INSIST ON A WRITE-IN BALLOT.A normal ballot will only give you a choice between 2 evils.

  9. theresident Says:

[..YouTube..] Hahaha, totally! We are best at American Idol too don’t forget. :)

  10. TheMeanArena Says:

    [..YouTube..] No More Government!

  11. mrzack888 Says:

[..YouTube..] it’s a de-evolution of the human spirit in America. Free market and Government are just tools. it’s the culture and consciousness of the people that has to change in order for the next step in increase in margin of growth.

  12. Noah Says:

    War? *ears perk up

  13. Jesse Archer Says:

Great topic! I’ve been pondering this lately–and long wondered how we are a superpower, especially traveling through the belly of this country or watching reality tv. Ultimately, I think our innovation will save us. Even while it kills us. Have you seen this site??

  14. Miguel A. Alarcon Says:

I think that America needs to compete against technology, and indepent companies in form of a fast rail system that they have in Japan and Europe, and the track for the future of other economies this can make the US to be number one in certian things.

Firs they need to privatizie Amtrak and let other rail companies to make competition against Amtrak like I wanted to start US Rail the first and only rialway company that has fast rail before Amtrak does it migh let Amtrak go out of bussiness, like companies in other industres in America has done for years we all miss those glory days that US based auto companies out of the big 3 competed against them let thos glory days comback and we need it here in this country.

  15. omatsu Says:

It’s not really the nation itself but the people in it that declines.

I’m not American but as a citizen of allied nation, I can sense that USA isn’t no longer a leading country of the world. But it’s not just US but Japan or lots of developed countries are same. And there aren’t tremendous developing country either. Maybe China is growing now, but I guess they will start shipping extra labors in ten years or less.

But please cheer up, if Americans aren’t growing much less the rest of the world. You aren’t carrying the world on your shoulder but the world is following you.

  16. Adam Says:

Yup, I think the U.S. is in its final days as the top dog. Yeah, as long as there’s a world like we know today, we’ll be towards the top, but as far as being the nation to be, nope.
MANY countries have better healthcare systems than we do–hmmm, a popular, or unpopular, topic right now. We suck at education. Quite a few European countries have us beat on that front–not including other continents. China and Japan–Japan being more at the moment–have a lot of our debt.
I think we are running on borrowed time right now. When I was stationed in Germany a few years ago, this was PAINFULLY obvious. We are not doing well on the world stage. I’d like for us to being better, but we are WAY too focused on pointless nonsense and too many are way too opposed to our current President for no good reason. Too many ignorant people in the country at the moment. They are just not willing to look at what is around them and think about the situation. The past can tell us a lot, but solely living in it will lead to nothing but trouble.
Thanks Lori for address this issue!!!

  17. froggerc625 Says:

[..YouTube..] I’m not sure being in a lot of debt to drive big vehicles and shopping at big box stores to make our homes look like the ones we see on TV should be considered peaking. I think there is hope yet for something different and better in the future.

  18. AlbaGoBragh Says:

[..YouTube..] The rich are not getting richer. Everyone is getting poorer. If the rich were actually getting richer the unemployment numbers wouldn’t be so high.America has not peaked, it is being systematically destroyed from within. Bush and especially Obama have been spending our nation into debt like we have never seen before in the history of the world. If we can throw Obama and Congress out and start over with true fiscally conservative candidates, America will recover in less 2 years.

  19. jjdrk Says:

[..YouTube..] I had to see those rocking tits.

  20. beetjuice Says:

    [..YouTube..] No.

  21. syrupneko Says:

[..YouTube..] @chop98 i think she means reached the height of our power and potential, and now the only way is down and some other Country will get to rise to no. 1 now.

  22. Lighthouse724 Says:

[..YouTube..] I haven’t peaked yet. You need to wear something sexy to help me peak. As for the country, yeah, we have ALL had it so easy. I just sit around my estate and collect millions in interest on my money. Really getting tired of it.

  23. nicholas9999 Says:

[..YouTube..] @ijust1: Simple. While the Repubs _use_ healthcare as a convenient tool, they are really appealing to their racist base that cannot abide a Black American as President. Lol, market-based healthcare? Please, take off your Republican-colored glasses, the whole goddam healthcare insurance industry is dominated by oligopolies, unbelievably brutal recission and pre-existing condition policies, and bunches of other horrifying crap. If you’re for that, you’re an idiot, lol !!!

  24. oblibious47 Says:

[..YouTube..] The hair groping boobs was not an accident. It’s her attempt to get more views than Jackie Mason, who’s been getting more views than Lori, lol!!!

  25. hughster41 Says:

[..YouTube..] nicholas9999 – Shove your over used fake race card up your ass, nobody cares if their called a racist by a liberal anymore!

  26. deram Says:

[..YouTube..] Lori…. you need to visit Scandinavia. You are already open minded and clever. Living in Scandinavia will give you an even more open-minded view on things. You will probably find that most Scandinavians are better off than most Americans (will this surprise you?), but you may also find that there are some problems with those systems of society as well.Go there – please. You will end up so much smarter from it. But make it at least a month.

  27. wbtaylor1 Says:

[..YouTube..] While it’s true that the insurance and healthcare system has it’s problems, government is not the answer. The biggest healthcare industry out there denies more claims and denies more care than all other insurance companies COMBINED. Which company? Medicare and Medicaid. That’s right. The one run by the government denies patients and rejects them based on age. This is what Obama wants grown by 7500%? No thank you!

  28. Codad Says:

[..YouTube..] Great video, good points. The seriousness of the polarization between the right and the left is reaching critical mass. We have to remain cognizant of the fact that there are people that disagree with us, and we shouldn’t demonize them for thinking differently.I’m afraid that our current administration is pushing to hard, to fast on their agenda. They are putting a lot more at risk then just simply new legislation.

  29. ClearViewFields Says:

[..YouTube..] What is your goal with this video? Your conclusion is certainly debatable but your premise and supporting arguments are illogical. Also, this video is consistently self-contradictory.

  30. DontTaseMeBro77 Says:

[..YouTube..] another example of that youtube-choppy-edit vlog style, but its cool, i put it on mute and enjoyed the scenery

  31. disturbed341 Says:

[..YouTube..] One word describes what has happened in America. GREED.

  32. cheekizms Says:

    [..YouTube..] nice tits

  33. timbosforporn Says:

[..YouTube..] The only consensus is consensus for the individual only their own lives. The rest does not exist.

  34. grandkadolz Says:

[..YouTube..] We haven’t won a war since 1945, oru money is worth less than ever, our unions have been busted, our health-care system is amongst the worst in the world, our politics have become polemics, we are fat and lazy and scared of everybody because they hate the corporations that run this country and all we can think about is whether we should buy a PSP, Nintendo or WII. Maybe you think things are just fine and it’s all Obamas fault. I think we need to wake up and smell the shit we’ve been sold!

  35. floofypoof Says:

[..YouTube..] its an easy thing to say but its this attitude that’s doing more to hurt this country than anything else.

  36. OriginalBeast Says:

[..YouTube..] Obesity is not s sign of living well in the us. Most people who are obese are poor, it is a poor thing. There is a huge lower class in America that people call middle because no one wants to be in the lower class. That is the problem there is a huge divide between rich and poor and there is hardly a middle class.

  37. RonPaulRevolution4u Says:

[..YouTube..] .NO. We’ve only just begun. The seeds of change have been sowed and are now begining to sprout and take root. People are beginning to wake up and realize the current “liberal’/”conservative”, Dem/GOP system is BROKEN and OUTDATED, and that there’s a new 3rd way.Libertarians are the FUTURE.Freedom is Brewing…Ron Paul 2012.

  38. chop98 Says:

[..YouTube..] Good! It may very well be the thing that this country needs to right itself. We’re too out of touch with reality.

  39. ReaperofThoughts Says:

[..YouTube..] its a nation hunny nation technically each state is its own country “each state having different laws” keep it up but we live in a NATION!!

  40. agger12343 Says:

[..YouTube..] Dude… less than 20% of the american population has a college degree… out of those 20% of ppl who do have a degree, more than 90% are Indians and chinese…. V lead too comfortable a life to work hard man…. N now that we have come crashing down, it seems to me that there is noone who can pull us back up…. The media isn’t giving out all de stats about our current crisis to the rest of the world, cuz if they did, the whole world would know how deep we are in shit! We have lost respect man!!

  41. bretwengeler Says:

[..YouTube..] Those of us old enough to remember the 1970’s have heard all this before — a long list of our ‘insurmountable problems’, and dire predictions of our inevitable downfall. — Then came Ronald Regan. Americans prosper when we act like Americans – and we suffer when we forget who we are.

  42. nicholas9999 Says:

[..YouTube..] @hughster41: Lol, excuse me, but your violent reply is indication that you don’t like being called a racist!! But let me be clear, I’m not playing a race card — we as a society are NOT post-racial — instead I’m pointing out a cultural meme that still exists, has great power, and is being played upon by Republicans, even if, sometimes, they don’t realize what they’re doing!!! Live with it, deal with it!!

  43. nicholas9999 Says:

[..YouTube..] @wbtaylor: And you are referencing what in this attack on medicare/medicaid? Please provide any sort of reasonable data or other backup for your assertion. More pertinently, as you know from reading the papers, the current proposed plan has not even a public option. Are you against the proposed reforms (no recissions, no pre-existing conditions, etc.)?? If yes, what the hell is wrong with you, lol?? Thanks.

  44. Scorptilicus Says:

[..YouTube..] I was under the impression we won the Gulf War pretty handily.

  45. Scorptilicus Says:

[..YouTube..] Maybe. Perhaps we will have to cut back on our excesses if we want to survive the future.

  46. hughster41 Says:

[..YouTube..] @nicholas9999- If a black person calls themself a conservative, the liberals will call that person an uncle tom and a traitor to his or her race. Liberals are for womens rights, as long as the women is a liberal. The slaves were freed by a republican president (no Lincoln was not a fucking liberal). The civil rights act of 1964 was passed by a majority of republicans, Al Gore’s dad voted against it. Liberals are the real racist in this country!

  47. grandkadolz Says:

[..YouTube..] By setting our goals to please the oil companies we were able to achieve a limited victory. We should not have been there in the first place. and the long term results have been catastrophic. Leaving Saddam in power was a major mistake: once we were there we should have taken him prisoner.I guess you could say we won in Grenada, too. and San Salvador and Panama. We’re like the bully on the block, picking on the little kids with glasses.

  48. PsychSyke Says:

[..YouTube..] @OriginalBeast it makes total sense when it’s cheeper to eat off the dollar menu that to buy fresh fruits/veggies.Also there is a divid but the great thing about the U.S. is anyone can cross the divid with hardwork and preserverance.

  49. PsychSyke Says:

[..YouTube..] I respectfully dissagree. There have always been hard lines and dissagreements between parties. That’s what makes democracy work… the ability to dissagree and fight for something. The US will never be the same, yes, but nothing is… it will always grow & change, wax & wane. I for one prefer the present as apposed to living in the US in the 60’s for example.

  50. theloniousMac Says:

[..YouTube..] this stupid vlog has peaked, that’s for sure.

  51. wbtaylor1 Says:

[..YouTube..] Nicholas9999, According to AMAs National Health Insurance Report Card, Medicare denies 6.85 percent of its claims, higher than any private insurer and more than double any private insurers average. Now, if we take that broken program and add 181,000,000 people to it, do you think the quality of care will increase? You are foolish if you think the end game is not a public option. There plan to put insurance companies out of business will result in socialized health care.

  52. SKUNKworksUSA Says:

[..YouTube..] It is creativity that fueled the industry which was both protected and policed by the government which was in turn were accountable to the voters which made America but today we have a unified commander in chiefdom which is in the business of recycling the same old wood with a new face in front, likes of Bush & Obama, the only new guys the rest is there to make sure the creativity that might bring new industry which they know very little about is stopped at all costs…continued

  53. SKUNKworksUSA Says:

[..YouTube..] as they help GM kill the Saturn deal with Mr. Penske an all American entrepreneur but they keep Buick & Cadillac the first one is a car for the dyeing {old} & the 2nd is for the dead {hearse} kidding aside that means they have a guarantied clientele for the next fiscal year and a guaranteed brand failure the next year this way they can say they tried but it didnt work , while there is a big financial reward in foreclosures ,they all get big money brand is closed no pesky union guys to pay ,

  54. SKUNKworksUSA Says:

[..YouTube..] & This applies to the whole world today…why do something new when you can be in a junk yard business Gaus

  55. OriginalBeast Says:

[..YouTube..] Not true. That work hard thing is a fairytale. The US is very classist and everything is set up to keep the rich richer and poor poorer. There are poor people working 3 jobs. It’s hard work and it still doesn’t get them anywhere. Just look at the school system it is funded by districts you live in a poor district you’re gonna have a shitty school. That’s classist and has nothing to do with hard work.

  56. realicee Says:

[..YouTube..] Greed must go. No more corrupt leadership.

  57. Krp8dm Says:

[..YouTube..] MY God you are annoying. If you weren’t good looking you’d have about 4 subscribers. You clearly know nothing of history. Nothing.

  58. Krp8dm Says:

    [..YouTube..] Most accurate quote:”Personally I have no idea.”You don’t.

  59. PsychSyke Says:

[..YouTube..] Then my life is a fairytale! and I know plenty of people who are right there with me!

  60. Macphisto2003 Says:

[..YouTube..] Neither, it would seem, do you. Of course, that is an assumption since you haven’t referred to any sort of history specifically, leading me to suspect that you don’t. That said, the most cursory comparison between the US today and Rome (or most other major empires for that matter) during its decline would lead one to suspect that the US is descending from its zenith.

  61. nicholas9999 Says:

[..YouTube..] @hugh: I can see you’ve fallen way off the deep end. All you can do is make accusations, any of which are palpably and obviously false, or you go way back in time to dredge up some distant crap. Can’t you see that the Republicans are playing horrible politics — they vote in one huge block, trying to destroy everything Obama is trying to do. If you think all of Obama’s policies are bad, there is something wrong with your brain, lol !!!.It’s racism !!

  62. nicholas9999 Says:

[..YouTube..] @wb: Yes, you have found ONE number that LOOKS bad. I found this was true while reading the various news reports of the AMA __preferring__ Medicare’s coverage generally. But I have no explanation — I’m sure it has to do with needing more information or some other technical explanation. But you really show yourself when you say that the big aim is to put ins companies out of business. Man, what paranoia, lol!!! So, the one thing that could get Obama NOT elected in 2012 is his key goal, right???

  63. stonedcommander Says:

[..YouTube..] Dont you just love getting stupid comments like the ones from Krp8dm?you asked a simple question and got attacked by this troll for it.Yes, in many ways the world has reached the end of the line, terrible, dark days are ahead.

  64. hughster41 Says:

[..YouTube..] I want them to try to destroy everything Obama is trying to do. If you think social medicene and cap and trade are good for america, then you’re a moron. Wait till novemebr bitch!

  65. nicholas9999 Says:

[..YouTube..] @hugh: If you think asking the private sector insurance companies to play by some rules, so they are not screwing people out of their health care, is called “social medicine,” then you’re completely nuts! If that’s what you’re voting against, then you’re truly an idiot. What the hell is wrong with cap and trade? It’s just a way to get everybody to quit emitting so much crap into the air. Jeez.

  66. hughster41 Says:

[..YouTube..] nicholas9999- Cap and trade is about control of everything including the air you exhale. You just proved that you have no clue. I am amazed that you really believe the goverment is just out to help you. Social medicine is also about control, don’t be a fool!

  67. wbtaylor1 Says:

[..YouTube..] Nicholas, It’s interesting that you ask me for proof. I give you proof. You come back with nothing. As far as my paranoia is concerned, perhaps you are right. I don’t trust this man for a second. His intentions are so screwed up that he makes me very nervous. Either he has no clue how capitalism works or he understands it perfectly and understands how to destroy it. Everything he touches falls to pieces. As far as 2012 is concerned? If we still have a democracy, he will not be elected.

  68. hugozoom Says:

[..YouTube..] Back in the early 60s Khrushchev told Kennedy that we would spend ourselves to death, and if we continue at the present trajectory, he will be right. It probably sounds cliched, but sometimes you have to acknowledge you have a problem in order to fix it.

  69. Grange34 Says:

[..YouTube..] Yes , the US has peaked. The worrying thing is that it is Chinathat now has all the money and power.

  70. 7Whitewolf3 Says:

[..YouTube..] just look at us everything is backwards. everything is upside down. doctors destroy health. lawyers destroy justice. Universities destroy knowledge. governments destroy freedom. the major media destroy information. and religions destroy spirituality. MICHEAL ELLNER

  71. 560e Says:

[..YouTube..] The lack of a social safety net in the US leaves everyone frightened for their safety and well being. As a result, everyone who has any advantage is looking out for himself or herself only and screwing over the innocent and well-meaning people. That is why- Doctors are preventing care.- Judges are unjustly putting people in prison.- Educators abandon the gifted.- Universities scapegoat students who speak up.- The media cover up truths and spew lies.- Bankers are harming savers.

  72. 4marchbaby12 Says:

[..YouTube..] i don’t think (n)america peaked its just goin through a rough time it happened before and we’ll most likely get through it

  73. Munichon Says:

[..YouTube..] Yes , the US has peaked. The high developed „civilization is like a carousel and now slowly turning back to China, where it was before… over 1000 years. I guess. We will see the consequence maybe 20 years later. 5*

  74. nicholas9999 Says:

[..YouTube..] @hughster: Lol, what leads you to believe that cap and trade is a huge control scheme?? It is about trying to lower emissions that we are producing here in the U.S. That is a worthwhile goal, as we humans are warming the planet at the moment. We’re not going to have “social medicine.” At the moment, we don’t even have a public option in the HC bill. Where are you getting your information, jeez??!!

  75. nicholas9999 Says:

[..YouTube..] @wbtaylor: You’re right, I don’t have the precise argument at the moment, but you’ve got to realize that you picked out the one number that looks bad for Medicare. Given that such a number should be a great problem for doctors, why do all the reports talk about their being happy with Medicare??? “Everything he touches falls to pieces” ??? Lol, where are you getting your information? The guy is utterly streamlining and improving the executive branch, enforcing national security carefully.

  76. hughster41 Says:

[..YouTube..] The earth has not warmed for 10 years. Cap and trade is a tax on C02, period.

  77. watevatube Says:

[..YouTube..] American patriotism has gone down the fucking drain thats for sure, everyone is “gimme gimme gimme” and don’t care about screwing our future generations.

  78. nicholas9999 Says:

[..YouTube..] @hughster: So now you’re saying that anthropogenic global climate change is not real?? Cap and trade is a scheme intended to limit the amount of CO2 put out by a given country. The idea is to set a maximum allowable amount on emissions and then allow different emitters to trade permits to emit. It’s a clever scheme that allows flexibility. We can’t keep on allowing our whole country to ruin the global climate — that’s completely out of the question.

  79. wbtaylor1 Says:

[..YouTube..] @nicholas9999 What Dr is thrilled with Medicare? None of them. Medicare is charity work. They loose money on every medicare patient and make it up on those who pay. Not sure where your getting that kind of information. Yes he is streamlining the executive branch by replacing anyone who believes in the constitution with Progressive Marxists. As far as national security is concerned, we have never been so vulnerable. You are drinking from the CNN koolaid. Wake up! You have been duped!

  80. bearmare Says:

[..YouTube..] This downward trend accelerated in the 1980s. Recalling that decade, I remember it as being a hyper-reality, like an episode of Miami Vice. I suppose the rationale of many was live for today and enjoy excess on credit because the nukes will fall tomorrow. Darn! That didn’t happen. The Clinton and Bush years also seemed unreal. On the one hand, Clinton was encouraging sensibility while getting bjs in the Oval Office; and on the other, Bush decides to spread freedom and values…

  81. bearmare Says:

[..YouTube..] at the point of a Cruise missile throughout the world. Hell, even the tiny Republic of Georgia took on Russia because they believed that fleets of US warships would come to their rescue. I guess the stupidity was contagious. While the promise of hope came with Obama, I was uncomfortable with so many thinking they were voting for Superman. Maybe the US is becoming a super-sized comic tragedy, bent on falling on its face into the abyss? Or, maybe that superpower moniker was all hype? Stay tuned.

  82. paul Says:

America has peeked ! sorry to say ! Blame the special intrest groups of the late 80s and 90s. Home builders assosiations, Bankers, incurance companies, Big general contractors ,ect……… Hey ! and dont forget WALL STREET ! Another sad point to make is our own people sold us out. Im sure most of them are eating and sleeping well while the rest of us is worried about keeping our utilities on and losing everything we have and heading homeless. TRUE STORY.

  83. Munichon Says:

[..YouTube..] “Yes , the US has peaked. The high developed „civilization is like a carousel and now slowly turning back to China, where it was before… over 1000 years. I guess. We will see the consequence maybe 20 years later. 5*”

  84. peha2 Says:

    [..YouTube..] your debt.

  85. nicholas9999 Says:

[..YouTube..] @wbtaylor1 To tell you the truth, that seems like a reasonable argument. So why aren’t they making it — I have no idea!! Maybe it is because they don’t have to deal with some nitwit that is trying to turn their claim down, I just don’t know. But seriously, you lost me at “Progressive Marxist” !! Lol, c’mon, these are just regular folks. Wy are we vulnerable on national security? Obama is the best Prez we’ve ever had (but he’s Black!).

  86. wbtaylor1 Says:

[..YouTube..] @nicholas9999 Now I know you are out of touch if you think Obama’s cabinet members are not Progressive Marxist. THEY HAVE GONE ON RECORD. Over half of his Czars are ADMITTED Marxist or Socialists. It’s public record. If that’s your definition of “regular folk” I’m very concern. Not sure what your final statement was about him being black has to do with anything.

  87. Aceking1110 Says:

    [..YouTube..] i l o v e y o u l o r i

  88. BretterThanRealLife Says:

[..YouTube..] You seem so much more negative these days. I hope you’re ok.

  89. nicholas9999 Says:

[..YouTube..] @wbtaylor1 Actually, that IS my definition of regular folk, I suppose. Do you have any evidence for these ADMISSIONS??? Maybe my definition of socialist is different from yours?? My statement about him being black has everything to do with everything — that is the reason why there are so many against him!!!

  90. Politics: Screw It! | The Resident's Mobile Home Says:

[...] just been feeling soooo fed up with politics. The whole healthcare thing is out of control. The polarization of this country is not only ripping it apart, but it’s also very dumb. Because politicians are all the [...]

  91. wbtaylor1 Says:

[..YouTube..] Nicholas9999, you are so far left that you may be beyond hope, but I will try. 30 of Obama’s 42 Czars have gone on record to show that they have Marxist or radical socialist agendas. You will have to do your won research. Check out Dan Jones self-described communist. Mark Lloyde FCC Czar who wants to eliminate freedom of speech. Cass Sunstein who believes animals should be able to sue people. These are just 3 of his 42. This does not even begin to cover his advisers and spiritual leaders.

  92. hughster41 Says:

[..YouTube..] @nicholas9999 -Global warming is a scam, the american people have woke up and your religion is dead!

  93. nicholas9999 Says:

[..YouTube..] @wbtaylor1 I will have to do my own research??? I don’t think so. Please go ahead and substantiate your claims. At the very least, provide some form of citation. Lol, the Cass Sunstein mention is funny — if the owner of a pet sues a person for an infraction against his pet, not sure there is anything wrong with that. And how is that “leftist” or Communistic?? Seriously, man, these accusations are completely crazy.

  94. nicholas9999 Says:

[..YouTube..] @hughster41 Global climate is not a scam, as the vast majority of scientists will attest. The American people support the notion of collaborating with the best minds and moving forward on this. You’re a sick puppy.

  95. hughster41 Says:

[..YouTube..] Phil Jones has admitted the data is not accurate and the earth has not warmed in 10 years. You must be the last person to believe in this fraud. How many carbon credits have you bought from Al Gore?

  96. hughster41 Says:

[..YouTube..] Taxes and control of business and energy. Wealth redistribution from rich countrys to poor countrys.

  97. roscoeslick Says:

[..YouTube..] true the country seems to be in a spiraling downfall. the government will colapse it will rebuild , but it will never be the same

  98. nicholas9999 Says:

[..YouTube..] @hughster41 Huh?? you mean IPCC wants control of business and energy??? Are you completely nuts!! How would that work? Do you somehow imagine that the IPCC is going to profit from anything other than honest research?? There’s no reason to distrust IPCC? IPCC would have no way of receiving revenue as a result of any wealth redistribution.

  99. hughster41 Says:

[..YouTube..] “honest research”, did you not read the stolen emails. The IPCC is part of the UN, the UN would control the money from wealth redistribution. WAKE THE FUCK UP!

  100. nicholas9999 Says:

[..YouTube..] @hughster41 @hughster41 The UN is going to take our money by using the IPCC, lol??!!! Are you completely nuts?? The actual e-mails that expressed frustration with outside views 1) reflect just a tiny portion of the full research effort and 2) are also pretty natural — I’ve assumed even more would be forthcoming. Your conspiracy theories are pretty boring, man. In general, the IPCC is a trustworthy and good group. The idea that the UN would get money in this way is utterly crazy.

  101. salemrush Says:

    [..YouTube..] MmmTalking tits

  102. salemrush Says:

[..YouTube..] PSPlease don’t go to Newark to get a plumbers caulk butt liftIt’s just Fyne

  103. robi2000 Says:

[..YouTube..] I’m independent. You’d have to be stupid not to be.

  104. robi2000 Says:

[..YouTube..] I don’t care wheather America has peaked or not. I’m still kicking ass on an individual level. I certainly enjoy the basics of life more than material goods

  105. BaileyLush Says:

[..YouTube..] It’s true. Republicans and Democrats are far to dichotomized these days. To much selective abstraction. I’m sticking to a moderate stance, because that’s what this country needs. I think we could pull it back together, if people pulled their heads outta their asses…

  106. wbtaylor1 Says:

[..YouTube..] Actually the vast majority DO NOT support the global warming scam. The science community is spit on this but people that stand to make a ton of money like Al Gore keep putting out false information. The facts are out there but you have already said you are not interested in facts and research.

  107. specter78 Says:

[..YouTube..] We actually probably peaked in the early 70’s.Highest Real wages.US OIL production was at its highest.Dollar still tied to gold preventing catastrophic asset bubbles.US image at all time high.(despite Vietnam)Deregulation of financial markets not yet started. And most importantly… Elvis was still alive.

  108. nicholas9999 Says:

[..YouTube..] @wbtaylor1 Actually the vast majority DO support the anthropogenic global climate change hypothesis. However, there may be arguments within that movement about details. But there is no major argument except one: human beings, owing to their continuous output of CO2 are damaging the atmosphere, a hypothesis that ought to make all of us do our level best to work together out how we can put a stop to this. Most responsible parties are working together to see how we can get this done.

  109. WAKeele Says:

[..YouTube..] Every single empire in the history of this planet has fallen. It’s only a matter of time for the U.S.I think right before the latest depression was it for us. China (thanks to us) or the EU will overtake us soon.

  110. robi2000 Says:

[..YouTube..] I think the Resident needs to travel to the countries where people are doing so much better than in the US. Show me.

  111. wbtaylor1 Says:

[..YouTube..] Nicholas9999, If we doubled the output of CO2 it would take over 100 years to increase the temps by 1 degree. On the other hand if we went back not burning fossil fuels and electricity it would decrease the temps by 1/6th of one degree over the same 100 year period. Both these scientific models proved one thing. Humans have nothing to do with climate change. We can’t increase it or decrease it. By the way, the earth temps started to rise in 1813. I’m pretty sure Ford & GM were not around.

  112. tcagmail Says:

    [..YouTube..] yawntake off your shirt

  113. nicholas9999 Says:

[..YouTube..] @wbtaylor1 Lol, I believe I will trust the opinions and research of long-term climate scientists than I will trust someone on the web!!! I’m sure you have, er, researched your facts, but I’m just going to ignore you when you’re talking about the details of climate because there are people who can render an authoritative opinion and have no agenda or motivation other than making sense out of the data. Let’s give them a chance!!

  114. TheHigherVoltage Says:

[..YouTube..] I think America’s peek was just after WW2 and it’s been a slow roll down the mountain ever since.

  115. wbtaylor1 Says:

[..YouTube..] nicholas9999, So what you are saying is you will ignore the facts and trust the people who have no agenda like Al Gore? Al Gore has made MILLIONS off this global warming scam and stands to make even more if the Cap and Tax bill goes through. The only thing that keeps the global warming hoax going is money. The Liberal elites have set themselves up to rake in millions of dollars off this sham. The science is out there, you have to look outside the money stream.

  116. bille2588 Says:

[..YouTube..] Lori it was called freedom, but with BHO we are losing it.

  117. nicholas9999 Says:

[..YouTube..] @wbtaylor1 So, let me see, you’re saying that all those people in Copenhagen were there to make money?? I’m sure Al Gore has made money off his movie (even tho I believe he has pledged any personal profits to charity). Do we know who exactly are the “liberal elites”?? I mean, who are they by name, and how are they going to “rake in” this money, lol. You are slowly losing your mind!

  118. oblibious47 Says:

[..YouTube..] The US peaked quite some time ago, Lori. You peaked more recently, but there is still hope for you to rebound. After all, this is still the USA, home of second chances right?

  119. Dhorpatan Says:

[..YouTube..] @oblibious47 What has Lori been doing differently from before, that makes you think she has peaked recently?

  120. Ilikenuman Says:

    [..YouTube..] boobs

  121. Selanne93 Says:

    [..YouTube..] Amerikkka peaked in 1913.

  122. trevorb6 Says:

[..YouTube..] Throw God out of America and pretty soon there is no more America; at least not the America we all love and enjoy.

  123. ShiekUrBooty Says:

    [..YouTube..] @trevorb6 No, not really.

  124. trevorb6 Says:

[..YouTube..] @ShiekUrBooty “What ever happened to all the fun in the world? I knew you’d be surprised!”

  125. sarahmzm Says:

[..YouTube..] Please shut up. Your not smart, so stop trying to act like it. I want to kill you

  126. 1waitandbleed1 Says:

[..YouTube..] The only way that we could be successful is if we where an Anarchy.. but if that ever happened a community would build itself and history would repeat itself.. time and time again empires have grown, fallen, and rebuilt them selfs under different names.

  127. AugustusLarch Says:

[..YouTube..] I am ashamed for my species. I have been for years. That’s why I am goth. Fuck stupid people, so goes with the greater part of this nation. The US government, fuck them. Solid job on enslaving the populalation’s colloective mind.May the USA be delivered to a Hell of there own design.

  130. PariahOlympics Says:

[..YouTube..] Absolutely we have peaked as a nation…has for some time really, the recession is simply the latest symptom.

  131. RitalSoviet Says:

[..YouTube..] There are a liberal and a conservative party. There are no massive worker party. This is the problem. NDP is not perfect in Canda, but they have succeed to imposer our health program.

  132. argonne0 Says:

[..YouTube..] Stupid bitch? Kill? Oh no, america’s just fine – and with such proud representation! Actually, I just found you today – not only am I impressed (in the face of the ‘Tea whomever’ ‘conciousness’) but I’m also quite smitten. Keep up the good work, sadly – your’s appears to be an uphill struggle.

  135. mrsvinarich26 Says:

    [..YouTube..] yes

  136. Bobajobimus Says:

[..YouTube..] Definately peaked. Just look at economic comparisons. The only expanding economies are in the far east where people still have the drive for self improvement. Just look at europe we’ve been struggling for a while with our lack of manufacturing industries. Once the US looses them it will struggle emensely.

  137. paulinotou Says:

[..YouTube..] all she does is talk about how america is bad. she says she loves her country but that is so bull crap. if you really love your country why instead of accepting its down fall and antagonizing its people, dont you actually say a nice thing or two to show how grateful you are to live in this country.

  138. BLOKESGONEWILD Says:

[..YouTube..] America has peaked and the end is near. start selling your houses

  139. Rocketeer1001 Says:

    [..YouTube..] @BLOKESGONEWILD NATO?

  140. Rocketeer1001 Says:

[..YouTube..] She works for Russia Today, a state controlled government propaganda tool of the Russian government. Go figure.

  141. Bosspooba Says:

You’re correct in your argument speaking of our complacency. Greed has been embraced and compassion seem to have faded as people continue to stay divided in trying to fix America’s problems. I think we are in a time in our history where power in politics along with the perks going unchecked has taken over and it is now a systemic problem that will take its course. Unfortunately the hour glass is indeed past the half way point and our immediate future sadly looks to be business as usual.

  142. supercalifragable Says:

[..YouTube..] Lorie what is the secret to your beauty?

  143. jisangNY1 Says:

[..YouTube..] The last great American decade was in the 80s. After that everything went downhill from there. In my opinion its because of bad government, lack of morals and personal responsibility, bad schools, too much Zionist influence in the government, and too much immigration into the country–even though I’m an immigrant from Asia myself.

  144. cheat123 Says:

[..YouTube..] @supercalifragable im guessing high eyebrows symmetry and long pretty hair oh and slightly slanted eyes

  145. jameskoenig3388 Says:

[..YouTube..] America hasn’t peaked, we jut over used our main moneymakers. First it was stocks in the 1920’s, now it is mortgages. Don’t get me wrong, both will continue to be great sources of revenue in years to come. We just have some catching up to do in technology. Computers proved to be a lucrative field in the late 1990’s/early 2000, and that is just the beginning. Look at Japan. They have EVERY gadget known to man kind! Also, their economy is in good standing (considering the global economic downturn)

  146. hendrix950 Says:

[..YouTube..] America peaked in the 50s through the 70s

  147. eric5335 Says:

[..YouTube..] Especially now it has peaked, and the freedom is being taken over. I don’t get why you don’t love the freedom you have in your country? I don’t get why so many people want more government and more regulations? I’m from Denmark and know what I’m talking about. Too much government here, it’s down right scary

  148. hobbit2245 Says:

[..YouTube..] Actually, a Civil War might be the right thing to get our asses back in shape. Hopefully my side wins this time…

  149. horsefucingkkk Says:

[..YouTube..] Down with Ameri KKK aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

  150. stevewins914 Says:

[..YouTube..] @horsefucingkkk coming from a guy who’s name is horsefucking spelled wrong.America will rise you idiot you can’t bring us down don’t you KNOW??? Lori I understand where you come from, but here on youtube are a lot of people who HATE American soil and can’t spell for the life of them.So when they hear about 2% of your video they understand idiots like horsefucker here make retarded like comments that only fools would say but start a trolling war because, well they are not cooler then Americans.

  151. horsefucingkkk Says:

[..YouTube..] @stevewins914 Face it AmeriKKKa is finished.and horsefucking is spelled wrong on purpose. Spelling isn’t going to save AmeriKKKa from dying.

  152. stevewins914 Says:

[..YouTube..] Lol,trust me buddy..your country would be buster bombed before we go down LMAO

  153. paydog23 Says:

[..YouTube..] The only time America will be finished is when humanity is finished

  154. Darusdei Says:

[..YouTube..] @paydog23 and that’s called arrogance… history teaches that empires fall

  155. Darusdei Says:

[..YouTube..] When freedom burnsthe final solutiondreams fade away and all hope turns to dustwhen millions burnthe curtain has fallenLost to the world as they perish in flames

  156. paydog23 Says:

[..YouTube..] @Darusdei The difference between America and other empires is that we are a free, open, and democratic society. Yes, America has many flaws, no doubt about it! But, we don’t have political leaders who literally murder each other and imprison and execute people by the thousands in order to hold on to power. In the history of the world, our society is a first. All the other great empires got what was coming to them.

  157. paydog23 Says:

[..YouTube..] @Darusdei Thanks to wide availability of information and educated masses, I think America will be around for a long time. Only when God ends this world as we know it, will America fall.

  158. Darusdei Says:

[..YouTube..] @paydog23 no ofcourse, the murdering… that’s done behind closed doors and masquaraded to be something totaly different and educated masses you mean the american youth which is performing below the avarage of the western world?and you think other empires fell because they murdered? lol…

  159. future4you Says:

[..YouTube..] “Middle class” speak for yourself some of us have been struggling our who dam life.

  160. EC0urbanGeNiUs713 Says:

[..YouTube..] life is not easy – money money money >money for college 2 get a career 2 make make more money 2 spend more money to be in debt and engulfed by money money is the root of all evil damn you sweet green paper and damn our capitalistic nation pushing the new season of marc jacobs and the new “it” car that gorgeous Audi and the NEW “it” design and interior styling to have your house as, now the party to show it off, fuck your neighbor -up her one- – ->damn, recession : who the hell say this coming?

  161. jackster1212 Says:

[..YouTube..] @paydog23 Wouldn’t it be pretty to think so? (as an educated American, I know you know the American author I just quoted)… yet, the points raised in the video are valid. America’s empire is under pressure the world over, the supremacy of the dollar is waning, and our competition (China, etc.) gains ground in leaps and bounds. I love the land of my birth, but do we do it credit to remain willingly ignorant of the challenges it faces (not to mention the opportunities presented by change).

  162. jackster1212 Says:

[..YouTube..] @paydog23 It’s true, even our worst political leaders haven’t been Ida Amin’s or Stalin’s or Hitlers. And that’s not a fact to reflect upon lightly. Conspiracy theorists, too, might say you’re being naive — Iraq, for instance, looks like a mass execution to some and many aren’t convinced Oswald alone shot Kennedy — but there are some firsts America still clings to. Our constitution, for instance, was a great achievement. Again, though, it’s not clear we’re still #1. Not by a long shot.

  163. paydog23 Says:

[..YouTube..] @Darusdei I don’t see any evidence of mass murder behind closed doors. Additionally, even an average American youth has much greater, easier, and faster access to information and knowledge than any Roman, Greek, Soviet, Mongol, Persian, Babylonian, Assyrian, Mayan, Incan, Aztec, Abbasid, Umayad, or Spanish(not today’s Spaniards of course) youth of those empires’ respective golden ages ever had. Finally, what will cause us to fall? Can you think of anything?

  164. paydog23 Says:

[..YouTube..] @Darusdei And yes I think other empires fell due to massive internal corruption and evil. If you look at the history of any empire, you’ll notice that infighting and internal instability almost always preceded the final and often fatal attack by the empire’s enemies. Infighting would weaken the empire, while invaders would finish it off. Now if you claim that we are experiencing significant in-fighting and corruption, then you haven’t been in a third world country LOL (I have and trust me)

  165. Darusdei Says:

[..YouTube..] @paydog23 Well if you get some kicks comparing yourself to third world nations…do you know what the corruption statistics looks like when u.s. is compare to other western nations? i wouldn’t go parading on that…have you read some of the leaked afghan diaries? atm you’re aiding pakistan which is aiding the enemy in afghanistan, basicly you’re fighting against yourselfs…

  166. paydog23 Says:

[..YouTube..] @Darusdei How do you propose that America will fall?

  167. Darusdei Says:

    [..YouTube..] @paydog23 debt

  168. morre666 Says:

[..YouTube..] well im from europe and i dont know much about america :/ all i can say is Dont get depressed yet you still got very beautiful women….. ;) (as the one i saw in this video :O )

  169. Scorptilicus Says:

[..YouTube..] Even if we have peaked, that doesn’t mean it’s all down from here. We could just cut back on some of our excesses and still be rather comfortable, especially those who can afford to do so.

  170. rcrippen Says:

[..YouTube..] America peaked in 1776 and September 17, 1787, April 9, 1865, August 15, 1945, July 20, 1969 and just like the Dow Jones it will be back.

  171. paydog23 Says:

[..YouTube..] @Darusdei Debt is very bad, but how do you think it will cause us to fall? Because we’ll run out of money to give to our lenders? You know the US has never failed to pay back its lenders…eventually LOL

  172. alessandrousurbinum Says:

[..YouTube..] Its 21th cetury and there is no freedom of speech in America… there is only the down way and not only for US.

  173. bramcorleone Says:

[..YouTube..] I don’t think dualism is ever the answer (maybe in fascism/communism: “You’re either with us, or against us!”).. I would like to see a new trend: spectrumism.. No two persons are the same: not even clones (read: twins) and usually people don’t stand opposite to eachother about every matter (why do some republicans vote for a democrats bill or vice versa?!?)

  174. cvaguy Says:

[..YouTube..] By peak, what is your definition ? Growth rate ? Total GDP ?By growth rate, we have peaked. By GDP, we are still number one.

  175. Guitarrosaurusrex Says:

[..YouTube..] I’d say everything is pointing south, i.e. down, for the US… a debt that we will never be able to repay which is still ballooning ever more out of control. A military with worn out equipment, division at home, corruption in government and big business, the continual influx of illegal immigrants, drugs, crime, natural disasters, perversion sold and bought as “normal”, close to 50 million unborn babies sacrificed on the altar of convenience… We kicked God out. What’s left but destruction?
