For this alternative news video, the good people at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City were kind enough to give me a private tour of the Gottesman Hall of Planet Earth, and I was kind enough to repay them by questioning all their scientific knowledge, beliefs, and general credibility. Why? Because there are a lot of Young Earth Creationists out there who believe that radioactive dating methods are nothing more than heaps of bunk, that our planet has only been around as long as people have been, somewhere in the vicinity of 4,000 years. They believe in a literal interpretation of the creation story in the Bible, that God created everything in 7 days and 7 nights, and that the story of Noah’s Ark really happened. Everyone is allowed to believe whatever they want in my book, but my big question is why don’t creationists seem to think the same thing? They seem to be on a war path to make sure everyone believes what they do and refutes any scientific knowledge or discovery that proves otherwise. And this, I cannot tolerate. Especially from a bunch of quacks. Oops! Did I say that? So yes, I took advantage of my private tour of the museum to speak to the incredible exhibits in a way that a creationist would. I could say it was to start a conversation, but I’d be lying. I did it because it was damn good fun. And the people at the Museum were damn good to not toss me out from the moment I opened my critical little mouth. So I hope you enjoy this video, the fruits of my being a total ass to a really smart, sweet geologist doctor lady.

I think you think too much of your own opinion. Plenty of things are illogical on earth, especially from a religious stand point. For instance people in this so called modern age claim to be so ahead of the past, yet 1000 year old ideas still run peoples lives and attitude toward new ideas. Sums up the western world? Common man. Humanity as a whole is ignorant and flawed. It makes what we do great that much better.

i agree with you my friend.. humanity as a whole is ignorant and flawed, but i cant concur with your first statement; my problem is im probably expecting that you dont care about what other people think &your probably thinking im another close minded christian.. which if we actually spent some time with together we might be suprised. your opinion is as valid as mine, but i know i havnt the answer, how can something finite understand something infintie? wether thats God / the universe

maybe if we decided not to continue being ignorant, the flaws wouldnt be so annoying? if we respected peoples views, taking more interest in others than only ourselves, we might learn alot from each other. plus lets not bash the ancients, some of the civilizations 2000+ years ago were particularly advanced. alot of modern science &medicine was developed by the persians then &just left to fester whilst our nations waged war instead of research.. i like that you think about these things though!

I have to agree with your last point. It’s very interesting how one philosophy always tries to deny the other one but somehow its never possible because both contradict each other in their own way but they also disprove each other. All I have to say is, don’t believe in something just because people tell you to do so, do your own research, study different philosophies, and then you can choose to believe in one, AFTER you’ve done your homework.

I have faith that one day mankind will wake up from its degenerate state and see that our so called Gods are nothing more than make believe. They’re our own inventions! I mean seriously people.. Do we really need to fill up everything that’s not yet explained with fictional entities (Gods)?? Can’t we just accept gaps in our understanding of the universe? It’s truly scary how so many “grown-ups” have such childish notions..
