Englands gun death rates are the lowest for 25 years. The lowest in the EU per person. The ban on guns has clearly worked.

Congrats on treating symptoms….and not the problem. You’re violent crime rate has soared. And you only count Homicides when a conviction is made. Your gun murders are higher than you admit. I prefer taking care on myself, instead of relying on the government. Thanks…but I’ll keep my freedoms. And my right to defend myself.

42 gun deaths in 2008 in the UK, 42. Conviction or not those are the only deaths from guns in one year. 28,000 gun deaths in the USA in 2008. See the difference?

We have 300 millions people, with over 200 million firearms in this country.See the difference?You ban guns now…you disarm the innocent and many will die without the ability to defend themselves.And of those 28,000 gun deaths…wanna wager on how many were killed by felons that are not allowed to have firearms? Only in a fantasy world can someone think banning will end gun crime here. You can wait for help…I’ll bring my own.

Trading freedom for security is not how I wish to live. My security is based on my freedoms. I can depend on me. You can depend on government if you wish. In America, you don’t have a right to be protected by the Police. They show up…when they show up. Usually, to put you in a body bag. No thanks. The 2nd Amendment doesn’t protect a “right to kill”…it protects a “right to defend”. If you don’t want to protect your family….that’s on you. Criminals will ALWAYS have guns. Just like drugs.

Oh, and by the way, They banned handguns in Washington DC in the late 70’s. Gun murder when up EVERY YEAR for 30 years, except for 1 year.Yep…we’ve seen the stats. In America…they go UP.

The US has not banned guns so stats within a country does not count. The UK and Japan have low gun deaths and have both banned guns. The stats do not lie.

A ban won’t work. Bottomline. We’ve also banned cocaine, marijuana, meth….Hasn’t worked…has it?Check out Jamaica’s complete gun ban. Then get back to me on how well gun bans work.

This shouldn’t even be a topic. It’s a constitutional right in our country. If they can take it away then they can take away any right. If we make guns illegal, aside from my first point, the murder rate will go through the roof. Anybody planning to kill somebody isn’t going to worry about the gun law. That’s when a robber comes into your house, rapes your family, kills them, and robs you and there is nothing you can do. I don’t understand how people can even argue for gun control, it’s insane!

[..YouTube..] Chief Justice Warren E. Burger said in an interview that the people of the states believing that the second amendment gives them the right to bear arms was the biggest fraud ever perpetrated on the public.
If you want guns banned the only ones that can do it is the state governments.
I own three and have never shot my dog, my kids, my wife or my neighbors. Better to have one and not need it then the other way around.
And the best reason for having them is to overthrow oppressive government!
