Go green. Environmentally friendly. Eco-conscious. Environmentally sound. Environmentalism. Our culture is on this social responsibility bandwagon, folks, and there is no getting out of it at this point. Now, I personally believe that we all should be better inhabitants with cleaner habits. I never litter, and I always make my bed. I’m generally a neat person, so it just makes sense to me that we be neat wherever we tread. And I also believe there is no denying that our consumerist ways have created more carbon dioxide emissions, which in turn are bad for the planet. The extent of human-caused damage is arguable; the fact that we could do better is not. But man, I just hate trends. And this green social responsibility trend is just getting started in our society. So, I thought I’d take some time out to poke fun at it. Because some of the tips I’m starting to hear basically suggest that we regress into caveman behavior – using the sun to cook rice and all that. Yes, we need to be better global citizens, but does that mean we give up on all that separates us from the cro mags? What do you think, guys?

I don’t care about what you think about french people ! And as a developped country they did a lot of freakin’ shit around the world… Everybody nows about that and I personnaly wasnt there to give a hand… But just don’t say bullshit about cars, electricity and stuff ! America is marketing and you are a dumb custumer..sorry !

Well you just can’t say America gave us affordable cars for exemple. The pricse belong to the car markets of the country you live in. Ford builds & sells cars far cheaper in USA than in UE you know that ? Caus’ of course they need to export the vehicules and rise the prices. Moreover the FMN uses social dumping (or fiscal dumping) to produce cheaper stuff…

SO if you really see what is going on today : Asia is the place for social dumping SO emergent countries are giving us affordable cars… The mondialisation is making America the slave of China.. To be short : USA consumed and China produce.. This is today balance.

Governement just don’t make us think the right way I suppose..Even if we understand, contradictions are everywhere and she gat this point… Basicly if we really want to reduce environment impacts we need to stop make childrens and make the emergents countries stop doing the industrialisation they need (like the developped countries did) : That is JUST IMPOSSIBLE.

LOL resident you are funny and intelligent…I think the best way to help the environment is not to consume more than what we need. And we need to pressure our politicians to change polices while they keep pressuring our failed auto industry to come out with more green cars, they should stop their nonsense and radical foreign policy that is hurting the 3rd world which is leading to global environmental disaster…oh yah and all those wars are certainly not so good for the environment are they?
