A piece of mine for RT: It’s been ten years since NATO began bombing the former Yugoslavia. So I tried to find where public opinion stands on the streets of the city.

NATO intervention killed and literally fragmented 89 Serb kids who didn’t even knew why is “America attacking”. I was a kid then, i too didn’t knew why but now i do. Only to prove that they hate Russian’s Brethren! Serbs didn’t do anything wrong on Kosovo. It was a war agains terrorist groups. NATO didn’t tell us why the 3yearold girl died from Pieces of shrapnel on the first eve of NATO’s intervention. Why they didn’t stop then?!?! WHY?! They did show us they’re sereous. Why they continued?

I respect your position. First and foremost I hate war and violence. I am sorry for what happened to you and your people. Your political leaders at the time were given the opportunity to sign a cease fire and not resume fighting. They chose to not abide by the rules. Self criticism is difficult but needed. Nationalism created Hitler Germany. Let’s not forget that. We are opening our eyes now in the United States regarding foreign policy. I cannot say how relieved I am.

That’s the difference. Native Americans have sovereign lands. American police and personnel are not allowed on their territory. I think a better argument would be an entire state of the American Union. I know what you are saying, just wanted to put it in a better pretext.There is not a doubt in my mind that the US government would mobilize the national guard if a state tries to secede from the union. Lincoln did it, and so would Obama. Secession caused out civil war.

Thanx for understanding. It’s true that Milosevic went too far with Anti-Terrorist Campaing, but Albanians provoked him more and more. What could he do to protect poor Serb families on Kosovo. International law forbidded the use of cluster bombs. Then why “The Great Nato” dropped the “forbidden bomb” in the middle of city and killed 26 people??! Where is justice for that??!?! Is cluster bomb made for killing pregnant women?! What were they thinking

Let’s not forget why bombing of Serbia happened. Serbian war machine was in the process of committing genocide in Kosovo, and they were given chance to stop before the bombing even started. Police imposes its will on criminals so why should NATO not prevent a genocide?

Serbs were doing anti-terrorist battles in Kosova… What could our soldiers do when Alban people keeps getting in the way. In heavy battles, UCK forces used women and children as a shield agains Serb army, what else could’ve Serbs done?!? And what about America? Why did they intervened?! Why did they wanted to draw out our childrens blood just to prove their point? Is that the way they wanted to prove we’re wrong. If so, what kind of people u are?!
