We all know life is pretty short, right? And those of us that don’t, well: they’ll find out soon enough. With my short time on the planet, it seems like the most I can hope for is to make some positive difference through social commentary, alternative, news coverage, or other counterculture efforts before I check out. Something that I feel improves our culture and society through reaching people on a more soulful or heart-felt level – even if it’s through silly social commentary videos. So that’s what I strive for every day: to make some small difference to at least one person. Some days that difference is bigger than others. Some days it’s just saying hi to an older person who looks a little lonely.

It’s a piece of contract work.They pay me minimally to sell their food and take care of their guests. In return I get an opportunity to make money. It’s chance work, sometimes I make up $200 in a night, sometimes I make only $30. You can’t work many hours, but you have the opportunity to make at least a living wage(kind of) while having enough time to go to school and volunteer at the shelter.

Its because of videos like this that I subscribe to you Res. We need more people making an effort to be positive. I don’t necessarily try to do 1 positive thing a day, but I think because of my personality I do it anyways without trying. Case in point, today I held the elevator open for someone rushing to get on. Really a small thing, but I could have just as well hit that close button and laughed on my ride up. Now add my little thing to your little thing and positivity just got bigger.

In fact, it is written that in the near future, many many positive acts happening at the SAME TIME all around the world will be a true miraclel and BOOM! we’re in Love for ever and ever and ever… a MUCH better way to all live together than the current model of darkness, pain, loneliness, fear and war. And so, each and every one of us brave enough to hold the light each and every day are the pioneers and the true believers, opening the way for a new world of real and lasting peace.
