Hark all the bells! Sweet silver bells! Christmastime in New York City: nothing like it. The window dressing at Saks’ Fifth Avenue; ice-skating and carriage rides in Central Park; and of course, the tree in Rockefeller Center. I hit up Rock Center to find out what people were asking Santee Claus for, and I brought along my friend, Old Man Christmas, also known as comedian Bob Wiltfong from “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart”, “The Chappelle Show”, and other fine programming. I have mixed feelings about the holiday, personally. I was raised Catholic and did the whole church thing for Christmas while growing up. I’m not sure if Jesus was god’s son any more than any other man on the planet, but let’s leave that argument aside for this video, eh? Because whether or not you believe in Jesus is beside the point of what’s wrong with Christmas, I think. Whether he was or he wasn’t, the holiday is supposed to celebrate the birthday of one seriously selfless, giving humanitarian kinda dude. And our culture and society has turned it into one big consumerist shop fest. And that just sucks. Kids be getting all sorts of expensive crap under the tree, too! I used to get some dolls and stuff, and I was way excited about it. But now I see my niece and nephew getting like, hundreds of dollars worth of electronics and clothes and lots more, and it’s not because their family is loaded. It’s the norm. It’s expected. I guess this might be another positive side to the oncoming depression the United States is about to face: we might just remember the meaning of Christmas again. Jesus would be happy. Anyway. Here is my extremely grassroots video for the holiday edition of my web talk show. You’re welcome!

    I’m working on it! I can’t be ALL serious all the time, haha. But I am moving away from less substantial topics in general. Something on war or terrorism is bound to come, though I know there will be backlash. :)

    That old guy is pretty funny. but honestly, not as funny as yourself. And the truck driver at the end thought of a genius way to boost advertisement for whatever that was. Perfect timing I’d say. Keep it up res, and remember not to finish whole bottles of morgan by yourself! haha
