I often have this same thought over and over and over again. When I read a quote from Giovanni Francesco Gemelli Careri’s Voyage du Tour du Monde (1719) on the first page of Neal Stephenson’s The Confusion (2004), it made me want to video-ize the thought. Here’s the quote: “So great is the dignity and excellency of humane nature, and so active those sparks of heavenly fire it partakes of, that they ought to be look’d upon as very mean, and unworthy the name of men, who thro’ pusillanimity, by them call’d prudence, or thro’ sloth, which they stile moderation, or else through avarice, to which they give the name of frugality, at any rate withdraw themselves from performing great and noble actions.” And now please to enjoy the video-izing of this thought I keep having. Have you thought the same thing, too? I mean, since you’re on my site, I can’t help but think you’ve thought it, too. This week, let’s talk about it!

[..YouTube..] You’re very intelligent, Resident, so I’m surprised you didn’t know. This video is very New York City. ;)

  2. mienchen07 Says:

[..YouTube..] they use calculators in kindergarten? WTF!! That’s horrible!

  3. DangerousTalk Says:

    [..YouTube..] Natural Selection

  4. tyandar333 Says:

    [..YouTube..] americans suck bad.

  5. TravisMay11 Says:

    [..YouTube..] conditioning

  6. mrethrift Says:

[..YouTube..] her eyes are accents; exclamation points

  7. Confusciously Says:

[..YouTube..] Seriously, I too am amazed. Makes me want to alternately run away from retards as fast as possible, or help educate them by making learning cool.

  8. daKIDgamer Says:

[..YouTube..] how about the fact that you dont know what those massive great archetectural people were like on their bad days. and you dont know what those pushy ignorant cell phone talkers do with their free time. your really only looking at one side of each coin.

  9. Blargaldalien Says:

    [..YouTube..] Hello,Lori.
Great architectural designs occurred before technology. As tech entered the fine buildings, and mass transit, there was dissonance. The end result being loud talking to be heard over other talking, and the varied ringtones which were a stylized cacaphony to our ears.

    With emphasis on the “caca”

  10. LarcheOsborne Says:

[..YouTube..] Typical people are responsible for many great deeds, Without us, the most accomplished would make very little progress. Common Soviet soldiers chewed up Hitler’s army to the point that the Germans proved unable to defend against common Western Allied soldiers. Common laborers built the castles of Europe, the pyramids, the Great Wall, the US interstate system, and great city skylines. Common people pay for the education of the great geniuses. We all make a difference if only by voting and taxes.

  11. schulwitz Says:

    [..YouTube..] Contradiction explained

Bill Gates: ruthless, a bit of a prick.

Steve Jobs: total asshole in real life

Yet, they are two of the most productive people who have ever lived.

  12. HaxxBlaster Says:

[..YouTube..] One person is not personality, a person is a learning consciousness which has different sides of expression.
Sometimes you think for yourself, “This is not me”. But we change, if we dare to.

We also act upon the information are presented in front of.

  13. jay7sa Says:

[..YouTube..] why is your microphone point downwards. lets talk about that….

  14. gofez Says:

[..YouTube..] What you have described is not really a contradiction

  15. Eopyk Says:

[..YouTube..] Human beings have both the ability to do good and bad.. humanity is a doubled sided coin and there is often shades of grey but I will say that most science speak for humanity being basecaly good but we gett effected by living standards, cultural enviroments ideals and idealogies and certain desires (like greed for an example ) that can lead us to horrid examples.

    All love from me Jasmine

  16. CrazyMitch89 Says:

[..YouTube..] I am amazed at how annoying this woman is.

  17. theresident Says:

[..YouTube..] Hahaha – because when it points up, it scratches against the material and makes weird noises. :)

  18. sjg2 Says:

[..YouTube..] simple question simple answer coz were human and we have all been or still are dick heads :D

  19. ART1975CZ Says:

[..YouTube..] Video will not load as of 2:45 P.M EST ?

  20. CombustTheChronic Says:

[..YouTube..] government, technology, stupid women not using their pussy, 3 of the main reasons why

  21. GaigeYa Says:

[..YouTube..] Maybe it’s the Yin-Yang theory

  22. ART1975CZ Says:

[..YouTube..] It is a diffeent time. 2010 is WAY different then 1979. Then we built up, even with problems, today, there is so much Rotting, nothing will stand up again, unless there is a ” New Foundation ” !

  23. magicshoemonkey Says:

[..YouTube..] It’s sort of like ants, but on a larger level. If you put a few ants together or just one, they’re really dumb. But when they work together they accomplish amazing feats (by comparison with their size). Same with humans. Of course, with humans, some are smarter than others, but maybe that’s true with ants, too. I don’t know.

  24. Patrick Griggs Says:

I have private talks with the guys about how we would go through great lengths to impress women general. We would create art, build skyscrapers, automobiles, planes, and other fine material things to impress a woman.
It’s fair to say, despite of mankind’s pitfalls or greatness…we would do whatever it takes to get full recognition from our glory.

  25. juliact Says:

[..YouTube..] 1. Maybe those loud, cell phone taking, pushy commuters are also brilliant musicians, mathematicians etc. 2. Maybe it’s got to do with balance (eg. Yin-Yang as suggested above). 3. Or maybe it’s to do with how humans act in crowds, often not a nice phenomenon.
In any case, whether group or individual behaviour, I believe there will always be both the worst and best of behaviour in humanity.

  26. theBeorn Says:

[..YouTube..] my god, do the street interviewing, we don’t wanna hear you yap.

  27. Tom from mpls Says:

Great point Lori,i live in mpls, but experience a pahhhhhh, fraction of what you do in New York, but i know what you mean. WHAT HAS HAPPENED!!!,I mean here in mpls you experience ,oh, 1 kind “Human” and 99,well, for lack of a better word, self indulged clones,it seems its becoming all about me,,,,me,,,,me ,,,,,me,But its no wonder, the mainstream media, and promotional advertising, are very focused on that very thing, screw everybody else its all about YOU,very sad and frustrating,Where has our dignity gone,at times i find myself partaking in this selfish behavior, thats is when it hits me,those are the moments when i am truly embarrassed to be HUMAN

  28. CommentorX Says:

[..YouTube..] 0:13 Pusillanimity. Noun. Cowardice. You’re welcome.

It takes a great person (or a person put into a great circumstance) to do great things. That’s why we write their name down in history books and name toilets after them on the New Jersey Turnpike. Because people should think to themselves, “Thank God that Walt Whitman wrote all those great poems. Now I can take a dump in peace.”

  29. genericartist Says:

    Dude, life’s tricky, right?

Good bro get looks. Bad needs something.

Be kind. Sympathize the ugly, yo.

  30. Barry in Bloomington, IN Says:

    Lori–
The answer is to NOT ride the subway which caters to the misconception that we have to be somewhere as quick as possible.
GO for that walk. See people, maybe some actually smiling, since they are doing the same thing. I know it’s not Copenhagen. But ENJOY the outdoors, the sun, the trees, Great Architecture, pop into a shop, eat a bagel with salmon
schmear ( haha ), and live that life. It IS your choice what you subject yourself to. I choose Life. Bonne Chance, Mon Ami. St Bartholemew.

  31. LottsaLasagna Says:

    [..YouTube..] People don’t suck

Your just better Peasants with cell phones in one hand and a red bull in the other spending Fake money under the illusion you are free while sucking Gov TiT

  32. timbosforporn Says:

[..YouTube..] Its born into us. Just following our natural instincts will yield the result that our evolution has pre-determined for us.

    or…it just happens.

  33. Chitenza Says:

[..YouTube..] Offhand comment but I like the bags under your eyes.

People suck in America because we are bred to be assholes that love to segregate ourselves and are overworked…..

  34. KlaxonCow Says:

[..YouTube..] If you go to her channel page, by clicking on her username, then you’ll see the “edit subscription” option on the left, next to her avatar above her channel profile.

Then you can choose what type of subscription you want, including, at the bottom, “unsubscribe from theresident”.

Not that I remotely agree with your sentiment, nor would want to see her lose subscriptions.

But a choice is not a choice, unless it’s an informed choice – and freedom demands that it has to be your choice.

  35. tepidarium Says:

[..YouTube..] Lori, if you’ve ever been involved in a group project in college or at work, you know that usually the majority of people sit around gossiping and backstabbing while the 1 or 2 people-who-can do the real work. The majority are people-who-can’t and they know it therefore they act boorish e.g. blabbing on phones.

Plus, many people are self-serving shallow sheep. A consequence of which is that many still think Muslims perpetrated 9/11, despite the mountain of evidence showing it was an inside job.

  36. Metroid02099 Says:

[..YouTube..] There’s no such thing as Black and White. You have to take everything with a pinch of salt in this world. The long standing contradiction will never ever be solved, and your frustration is nothing new. However, choosing to openly speak of this great contradiction is rare. Perhaps if more like you Lori would openly challenged it, we would have a better way of coping with it. Personally, I believe its a matter of upbringing, or perhaps our surroundings. Hmm, Nurture or Nature? We’ll never know…

  37. teachtruth2U Says:

[..YouTube..] is moha mad a mass murderer or rapist?

  38. Adam Says:

Easy–culture. People raised in certain cultures have a harder time of being separated from that lifestyle. Sometimes when one does change their cultural upbringing, it’s not always for the better. It’s also easier to be lazy and just think of things in ways most familiar to you and require less unbiased, critical thought. Most people don’t like looking for fault in themselves.
It’s amazing to think sometimes how I managed to break free of the cycle my family culture breeded for generations. I come from many generations of traditional, working-class Southerners that are pretty religious and racist. I am the opposite in almost ever way of my relatives in all the good ways–there were a few good qualities to them too. It took about 10 years to completely break free of it, but I did it with the help of a large diversity of friends from all over the world, living in many different regions of the U.S. and a few countries (thanks to the military–which also exposed me to a LOT of different personalities, among other things), a girlfriend that was the polar opposite of me in many ways and a general thirst for knowledge.
So, in a long-winded way, non-biased education, communication and experiences are how people can suck less. From an Anthropological perspective, I think greed and closed-mindedness is at the root of all our conflicts.
Oh, and Lori, I know how hard it can be to find positive anything in humans from riding the train/subway regularly in Chicago!

  39. thejobloshow Says:

[..YouTube..] Well THOSE people aren’t the ones making life awesome. Peoples is a big tent.

  40. LeanOnUs Says:

[..YouTube..] can you not cover a show discussing people addicted to masturbation and sex, u know sex addicts! I’m sure it would get lots of views.

  41. Heidiscope Says:

    [..YouTube..] I’m a bit lost….

  42. diamonddragoniori Says:

[..YouTube..] as a species we need different groups…for example..if you take termites and ants etc…their complex nests/cities enable the work to be split..and give and identity to each individual as a whole species..workers..soldiers etc..

likewise…a complex creatures that humans are….its forms of ideas that differ….even those shouting rude obnoxious ppl have a role to play in human society….their ideas bring a separate & new ways of thinking to our noble species…

    not enough to explain here..

  43. LalitaLilly Says:

[..YouTube..] I think it’s only mean nobody is perfect but we are trying our best, i guess :)

  44. Gaus212 Says:

[..YouTube..] As Giorgio Vasari wrote: “In the normal course of events many men and women are born with remarkable talents; but occasionally, in a way that transcends nature, a single person is marvellously endowed by Heaven with beauty, grace and talent in such abundance that he leaves other men far behind, all his actions seem inspired and indeed everything he…

  45. Pleblian Says:

    [..YouTube..] What are you asking?

Did you really think, Americans would stop and think about their rolls at being a self-governing population of true citizens? … Try moving to Canada or Europe, we call it communal responsibility. We have the right to citizen arrest…and use it! Every child graduating HC, can’t graduate til they fulling understand their civil rights.

Canada is what America should be

  46. Gaus212 Says:

[..YouTube..] does clearly comes from God rather than from human skill. Everyone acknowledged that this was true of Leonardo da Vinci, an artist of outstanding physical beauty, who displayed infinite grace in everything that he did and who cultivated his genius so brilliantly that all” problems he studied he solved with ease” ….
botome LINE U & I are the Übermensch & the strap hangers are NOT! DAM IT JIM THERE IS NO FREAKING INT ELEGANCE LIFE IN The Canarsie Line…ps.THERE AINT, Lor :-)

  47. stephendedlus Says:

[..YouTube..] then why do you read ayn rand?

  48. emopope Says:

[..YouTube..] @Pleblian Seriously? As a comparative politics major, Canada is not as great as many believe. Explain why we have the greatest colleges in the world, and why millions move to America just to get schooling here. Americans have more understand of our rights (and the execution of them) than ANY country in the world.

  49. theloniousMac Says:

    [..YouTube..] Wow Lori.

I think back to the video that caught my attention. You named great authors as your “peeps.” That it was little more than a pretense. I suspect the last book you read was something like “John Edwards, My hero.”

Stop this video at 1:03. Look at yourself.

You have gone over the edge. You are no longer remotely interesting. You’ve never been informative. You’ve sunk to being nothing more than a kooky bitch with an annoying lisp.

  50. aallppiinnee Says:

[..YouTube..] I’m choking on the smug of this video.

  51. Pleblian Says:

[..YouTube..] Nope Canada’s not perfect but it’s people have far more liberties, more money to spend and the world doesn’t hate our guts.

Greatest Schools? Only in your yanky head.

You have some good schools available to the Evy league. Look into the amount of trained Canadian journalist being hire into the US press corp.

Most of the researchers on the daily show were recruited out of Canada and have more press and Peabody awards then any media outlet.since 1998

  52. thwipp Says:

[..YouTube..] did smurfette suffer a stroke? the left side of her mouth doesn’t work quite as well as the right side…

  53. DreadsideNubune Says:

[..YouTube..] hey did any1 else not understand any of the start of this video was it a foren language

  54. littletotes Says:

    [..YouTube..] ummm…Who cares!!

  55. jay7sa Says:

    [..YouTube..] good answer.
if you put a small wind screen on it, it won’t make that noise.

i do enjoy watching you, even though I may not agree on everything.

  56. dudeglove Says:

    [..YouTube..] HAAAAAAAHAHAHA!

    Sorry.

  57. shadowz138 Says:

    [..YouTube..] They’re retarded.

  58. NsaneNtheNbrane Says:

[..YouTube..] It could just be the luck of the draw that so many different types of people coexist, or it could be that even the loud, obnoxious idiots serve a function that only an idiot could do. Maybe society needs these types of people or maybe it just creates them by accident. It could be evolutionary, in which the best of humanity tends to outlive the worst.

  59. byblosadvocate Says:

    [..YouTube..] @DanielMumby – agreed.

  60. byblosadvocate Says:

[..YouTube..] @rattaplan – FAIL! Adaptation is natural selection, that is mutation, which in no way has been established as “evolution”. No one has ever produced a species by mechanisms of natural selection. Evolution is crapoganda.
Man is failing as a victim of his surroundings, interesting enough created by himself – surroundings that have caused and stem from a rise in “stupidity”. If you think man is getting better then you’re suffering from a severe case of stupidity. Get informed, stupid.

  61. schwambly Says:

[..YouTube..] Say you’re a sick, weak, or stupid gazelle. Chances are you’ll get eaten and your herd will be stronger for it. If you’re a sick weak or stupid human (in many societies anyway) great strides are taken to preserve your life, thus weakening the herd.

  62. G58 Says:

    [..YouTube..] Fear!

It’s obvious why humans act the way they do when forced to spend periods of time pressed together in confined spaces such as subway trains. They fear being so close to other humans they don’t know and cannot therefore trust.

As a species we originated on the plains of Africa. We evolved to live in family groups and then villages, then larger settlements which in turn grew into towns and cities.

But deep in our DNA is the memory of the open spaces, freedom, security.

  63. G58 Says:

[..YouTube..] If the human ‘herd’ requires all to be ‘fit’ by the standards of the gazelle herd, then you’re right. But as an evolved species, we have choices to be, well, human.

Part of being human is evolving, employing reason and compassion and recognising the benefits of protecting the weak and the sick and, yes, even the stupid.

But occasionally some humans come along and propose not doing so. We call them, tyrants, dictators, monsters. We know them as: Stalin, Hitler, Pol Pot, Amin, Mugabe and…

  64. Pleblian Says:

    [..YouTube..] Ridiculous argument and wrong…

Human beings have very little natural defenses, yet we stand at the top of the food chain and can maintain that position in any habitat on earth.

Altruism, empathy and linguistics are some of greatest reasons for our success…

When was the last time you saw a “gazelle”, with good genes, walking on the moon?

  65. rattaplan Says:

    [..YouTube..] @byblosadvocate
Erm, yes, concluding that someone is stupid without even comprehending their words really shows your extraordinary mental prowess. I dunno, but perhaps you’re not the best person to provide us with a dose of wisdom.

  66. rattaplan Says:

    [..YouTube..] @schwambly
Stupidity on a large scale has actually proved quite useful for maintaining peace and order in societies. It’s therefore a beneficial trait for the survival of our species.

Just imagine if all greedy people (which is a very small percentage I’m sure ;P) were geniuses.

  67. quixgofar Says:

[..YouTube..] Look at the CAMERA when you’re talking and stop reading the CUE CARD!!!

  68. VonHelton Says:

    [..YouTube..] One word – FLUORIDE.

During WW2, the Nazi’s used fluoride in the water of the concentration camps to pacify & weaken the inmates. The Russian gulags did the same.

Today, fluoride is in the drinking water of every industrialized nation on Earth.

    ……Ask yourself WHY.

  69. SwanginBros Says:

[..YouTube..] It would be nice if you could look into the camera when you talk!

  70. onlyrealnumber Says:

[..YouTube..] Easy. Those who accomplish these great feats are ‘freaks’ when compared to your average human.

Be it that they are too intelligent, too creative, too outspoken, too persuasive, and the list goes on. We need mediocrity to separate and celebrate the truly exceptional human beings that walk among us.

I know we’re taught to believe that everyone is special from parents, friends, and what-have-you. But the sad truth, is a large percentage of us are not. Myself included.

  71. sobeit42 Says:

[..YouTube..] you are right, people do suck but the level at which people suck will never be greater than the advances made. this can be explained as either the sum is greater than the whole or in cognitive creation theories. As a social engine we are always going forward even when stupid individuals could hold us back, we are inclined to help the sick because our very nature relies on social needs. the very same reason we created such an incredible linguistic capability, we rely on each other…….

  72. sobeit42 Says:

[..YouTube..] having said that invention has allowed us to be less considerate and communicative to our neighbours because our social roles are more defined and secluded, we have become more like ants in that respect… invention is either born out of need, observation or financial reward. unfortunately financial reward seems to be the main reason for creation today, so the social structure is optimised for economical advancement not social, and money is not so much put into inventions that are needed

  73. sobeit42 Says:

[..YouTube..] in other words the “human idiocies” are slowing social advancement in favour of an economic model; instead of pouring huge amounts of money into the iPhone etc it could be on cancer etc… so yes we are advanced because no matter how much our advancement is slowed by our vices, we will still have social needs that will progress… perhaps our social need now is medical or it revolves on local friends and family.

  74. benton432 Says:

    [..YouTube..] Greetings Residents
Thousands of years ago those sucking stupid people often gotten eaten by saber tooth tigers.
    Today sucking stupid people reproduces.
    Sucking should hurt.
    Bring back the TIGERS!
The Resident rocks and YES I subscribe.

  75. MakeItFunkyProds Says:

[..YouTube..] I have this same thought almost daily.

    Cheers to you, Lori!

    ~Vince

  76. KarrensMan69 Says:

[..YouTube..] Its called reversed evolution. We’ve kept stupid people alive through government subsidies, safety programs/laws and “educated” (I call it programmed) them to be so arrogant that they believe they can destroy the earth. Instead of letting the lazy starve to death, sloth is rewarded, while hard work is punished. For no other reason than to allow the powerful the illusion they are helping mankind while actually setting society back and making it more barbaric and vapid.

  77. jffryh Says:

[..YouTube..] We can destroy the earth. We already have.

  78. knightSquall Says:

[..YouTube..] LOL I would love a debate with you on this… most of the women I encounter don’t seem like they care about this kind of “smart” talk (but I do) they are more worried about things like partying, looking pretty, gossip with her friends (most of which aren’t true friends anyways), and going out with handsome guys that stand out in the crowd… anyways, your answer is given by psychology and I could write you 3 pages on it explaining it eloquently, but I don’t have time now sorry )=

  79. knightSquall Says:

[..YouTube..] Also, you shouldn’t have named it “why people suck” because smart & educated people like you and me definitely do not suck, you should know that by now! And please do not let this stuff get to your head, you are too pretty to be worrying about things you cannot change alright.

  80. hg85303 Says:

[..YouTube..] It’s easier to ask those questions like that when you’re on the inside looking out, instead of on the outside looking in. Trust me, life will be much easier when you’re focused on your own behavior, and in the development of yourself than of the behavior of others. Change yourself to change the world right?

  81. AdamColemanDaniels Says:

[..YouTube..] Resident it is quite simple. Those that create are the whores to all those who cant. Lets say that all are tech dies tomorrow…business men and women want to know the first person that can create fire without matches and live off the land very comfortably. Its not shocking. Its what us artists and creators call “real life”. Even right now someone could find my words, create it better and make money off of it. Its what make people into “groups” and not “us”. Good luck stopping it.

  82. AdamColemanDaniels Says:

[..YouTube..] Introducing: the Darwin card! This card is made for bosses, CEO’s and Government officials. Every time your boss screws you over for a promotion, every time the government mistreats its citizens, and every time a CEO of a big company lays of hundreds of workers: simply punch his Darwin card. After 10 punches they get a public execution! Its just that simple! No more protesting. No more looking for a new job. Life made simple thanks to “the Darwin card”. Survival of the fittest baby.

  83. Kmoney123456 Says:

    [..YouTube..] just like Idiocracy

  84. drago Says:

for many are called, but few are chosen.

  85. Lyvwhyr Says:

Percentage of those who produce VS. those that consume…. Whether it be YouTube, Art, Science or even iPhone Apps, there is a large gap. Normally in most sectors less than 3% produce content while the other 97% consume.

I myself and many others cannot live life without leaving something behind, or having a sense of effect on others before they die and leave this planet. But most are content consuming others creation until death. IMO.. I don’t think the thought process of a producer is something that can be taught.

  86. cgretton Says:

[..YouTube..] Want and need inspire great works in ego driven humans. Plus, the idiots stand out making them seem more plentiful than they really are. Most people are relatively non-offensive on those same subways I ride (including me, ftr).

  87. lucerfarul Says:

    [..YouTube..] In a word? Solipsism.

  88. natedogs212 Says:

    [..YouTube..] lets see for sure

  89. GhostDog65 Says:

[..YouTube..] someone needs a tan and some makeup.

  90. 50kT Says:

[..YouTube..] hey buddy she is perfect with all her flaws!

  91. RecalcitrantBiznis Says:

[..YouTube..] Its not a contradiction, it’s a choice, everything is. It’s called freewill. Some choose love, passion, understanding, empathy( the yin fueled soul). Some choose fear, hatred, ignorance, destruction( the yang fueled ego). Not a contradiction but a paradox as we are all both. Peace, Love & Unity!

  92. lucerfarul Says:

[..YouTube..] Recently, a sadistic step-father in Brazil confessed to forcibly inebriating his 2-year old step-son to the point of unconsciousness, then inserting upwards to 40 sewing needles so deep into his flesh, that they disappeared beneath the surface tissue and sealed over without leaving a mark. He did this in ritualistic sessions.
Tell me, teach me, in your world view of yin/yang balance without contradiction, what choice did that toddler have in becoming a human voodoo doll? This is free will?

  93. jjasonwrght Says:

[..YouTube..] When your free will is taken away, so is the concept of yin and yang. Things like that deystroy it.

  94. jjasonwrght Says:

[..YouTube..] The bright soul of one can affect the future of millions. The dark soul of many is considered the norm. That is how they are the same species.

  95. magicpet Says:

[..YouTube..] If I see further it is because I stand on the shoulders of giants. -Isaac Newton.

We are semi-civilized beasts with baseball caps and automatic weapons – George Carlin

  96. firefly4322 Says:

[..YouTube..] We have all become lemmings… useless lemmings….

greed has taken over everyone minds of why they have to have this and that and not care about what someone else wants or needs. They need to be able to get to the top, the king of the hill as it may and unfortunately it leaves so many behind. Its a disease. A selfish disease….

  97. snooker68 Says:

[..YouTube..] I’m thinking more like 10% of what the humankind is doing is impressive. The other 90… well, they’re hanging in there.

  98. agger12343 Says:

[..YouTube..] Depends on what people are sucking…..

  99. mariusthq Says:

[..YouTube..] Madam,They are not the same species!
My personal theory is that sometime back at the creation of man,the species separated in two,you see there was Adam and Eve,but what you dont know is that deep in there, in that forest where they lived, there also lived a couple which are the 20x great grand father & grand mother of all those scientists outhere that made us enjoy this day all that beauty you just said!I consider you mam,an epical vessel of modesty & inteligence…to be continued…..

  100. mariusthq Says:

[..YouTube..] ………and may an idiot or a self tutored person on hipochrisy die everytime you speak a word!

Thank you and good luck to every descendent of the fore-fathers of Einstein!Good luck mam!

  103. dragonlora Says:

[..YouTube..] Man is light, when we hide that light we reflect the darkness, or lack of light. We are loving, and creators of beauty, but when we hide that love, or smother it with less noble emotions we reflect the darkness. We are candles the glow of which cannot be seen hidden under a basket. I think we all have our moments of light and our moments when we hide that light….hopefully there are more of the former !!!

  104. LSRochon Says:

[..YouTube..] You know what sucks…the bags under The Resident’s eyes.

  105. LSRochon Says:

    Sucks= Israeli’s call the WALL a “fence”

  108. sionique Says:

[..YouTube..] tolerance and patience are virtues, perhaps you should see your flaws first and stop being annoyed by others

  109. brdobro Says:

    [..YouTube..] Time and pressure.

  110. hgrumet Says:

[..YouTube..] Hello, resident. If I may (sans the typical associations accompanying flattery): it is the purpose of certain people, such as those you’ve met on the subway, to make someone like you such a breath of fresh air. I’ve long encountered similar folk, and often pondered the same, but I always come to the conclusion that, without the conscious realization garnered by our chance meeting to guide me, I would descend into the same depths I criticize.

    They are our distorted mirror.

    Value them for that.

  114. bcj999 Says:

[..YouTube..] In short the vast majority of people are stupid. However every 20 years or so, humanity is graced with a genius where his or her creation(s) helps progress the next generation of morons. Without them we’d all still be living in the stone age.

  115. Shrimpcakedessert Says:

[..YouTube..] A few peoples ideas are exploited into the system.

  116. HK41586 Says:

[..YouTube..] Those ignorant assholes whome you encounter may have come up with brilliant ideas and inventions that change our ways of life. The thing is that we all have different ideas on what an asshole and rudeness is and your perception of this creates a stigma towards those people only existing in your own mind.

  117. KarrensMan69 Says:

[..YouTube..] @jffryh uhh… no. We have not. The earth is just fine. Aside from the surplus population of idiots also known as liberals.

  118. RecalcitrantBiznis Says:

[..YouTube..] It was freewill as far as the father was concerned. The poor child had no choice. 2 yr olds generally don’t choose for things. Their parents choose for them. It was obviously the freewill of the sadistic father to choose such cruelty. What do you mean by “ritualistic sessions”? Was the sadist into some kind of religion/cult? If you’re asking me about the child’s freewill, then that seems a bit strange. How many 2 yr olds do you know that make all decisions for themselves?

  119. RecalcitrantBiznis Says:

[..YouTube..] How is the concept of yin yang taken away simutaneously with freewill? Things like what destroy what?

  120. RecalcitrantBiznis Says:

[..YouTube..] Speak for yourself mate. The word stupider is not a proper word. You mean more stupid. There’s always hope!

  121. jjasonwrght Says:

[..YouTube..] WOW. How many two year olds do you know that DON’T make choices. Your really out of it today, because my post made sense, and clearly you didn’t read it the way it was intended. Stop contradicting people by simply asking questions you know the answers to. I was defending you, BTW, your clearly to dumb to see that.

  122. jjasonwrght Says:

[..YouTube..] A person who wishes somebody would come to harm due to the force of all that is good and reasoning is not supporting the good and reasoning. You are now supporting the other team. Good job with your mention of death :D Not.

  123. jjasonwrght Says:

[..YouTube..] She is not acting upon those feelings, simply thinking upon them. They only truly become flaws if those emotions start to rule you.

  124. ten3six Says:

[..YouTube..] Hmm… I have to say that anyone who took what I wrote as something other than satire would have to be considered… well… “more stupid”

  125. mariusthq Says:

    [..YouTube..] You sir,are an idiot!

  126. RecalcitrantBiznis Says:

[..YouTube..] Dude, I thought this was just a discussion not an argument. If I knew the answer I wouldn’t have asked. What makes you think I want you in my corner. I dont need defending, thank you anyway. As for calling me dumb, well that shows your level of communication isn’t that good. I have not offended you, I was merely trying to understand what your point was, however I don’t need to contradict you. You’ve done a good enough job of that yourself.

  130. byblosadvocate Says:

[..YouTube..] Yet I fully comprehend what I read, even the ramblings of idiots. Only a fool would doubt my wisdom and superior intellect – you’re pristine proof man is moving backward – you’re a fucking idiot.

  131. rattaplan Says:

[..YouTube..] @byblosadvocate Damn, talk about delusions of grandeur..How does it feel to be such an angry, narcissistic, poorly informed soul? The prime product of corporate caretaking. Anyway, I’m still of the conviction that in order to move backwards, one needs to establish the destination/goal first. Your jumped to conclusions are nothing more than bombastic speculations.

  132. byblosadvocate Says:

[..YouTube..] How does it feel to assume things about people you don’t know shit about like a fuck faced pompous ass? You’re still a fucking idiot; And I’m still the superior intellect.

  133. KiRILL943 Says:

[..YouTube..] You have beautiful lips …… and indeed you are lovely! Pleasant woman.

  134. rattaplan Says:

[..YouTube..] @byblosadvocateIt probably feels exactly the same as your initial assumptions towards me. Anyway, seeing you can’t make any points without some sort of insult I’ve had quite enough of you.

  135. byblosadvocate Says:

[..YouTube..] oh, did I make you cry little kid? Go drink your kool-aid.

  136. rattaplan Says:

[..YouTube..] @byblosadvocateYes, you did. It’s just that I feel really bad for your retardedness. Makes me cry.
