In New York City, it is illegal to smoke in restaurants, bars, and work places. AND my apartment. As a non-smoker, I love being able to go into a restaurant now and not reek of cigarettes. Especially as I grew up reeking of cigarettes. Both of my parents smoked it up in my house, and when I went to high school pretty much everyone thought I was a smoker. I wasn’t, then, but I was one in college. And I loved it. Loved loved loved it. Went from zero to two packs a day in an instant. Nothing like that first smoke of the day, that smoke after a good meal, that smoke with your coffee, or that smoke with a good glass of wine. Or a smoke when you’re on the phone with a girlfriend, or a smoke when…well, you get the point. But the problem with that is, you start always thinking about your next smoke. Pretty soon it turns into smoke-management thoughts. When was my last one? Do I have enough for the day? How long is this bus trip – will I be able to take a smoke break? Better get in a smoke before the movie. Can they smell smoke on me? I better grab a pack before the deli closes. And, boom, it runs your life. You stink, you’re short on breath, you start feeling weird sensations all over your body from it. Sometimes they make you nauseated. And you KNOW they are definitely a cause for cancer. So…yeah, I quit again. I will always miss smoking, but I totally don’t miss smoking. Classic love-hate relationship. So, back to the point. I’m glad I can go into non-smoking places now, but I absolutely hate the fact that now all smokers just smoke on the sidewalks everywhere in New York. Bars have turned inside out, and if you have to walk past one, well, guess what? You might as well be IN the bar. So, anti-smoking legislation in New York City, this Vlog’s for you. Enjoy!

In Boulder, Colorado you’re not allowed to smoke in your car while driving. If I were a police officer, I’d enforce that law if the person had kids in it…The reason why they’re banning smoking every where you can possibly imagine is because more and more people have a legal prescription for Marijuana.

I may be a step slower to some people but to me, marijuana is a toxic drug for those who try to over come Dyslexia.

Its not a bad idea, but about half of my friends smoke. So we’d either go to a smoking bar, so the the other half of us have to suffer it. Or we go to a non-smoking bar and the smokers have to go outside. Not for me I’m afraid

let smokers smoke in the bars where they are the majority. dirty insurance companies are behind this draconian measure to maximize profits by lessening their costs and cigs being five dollars apiece eventually

Like most anti-smokers, you’ve taken exception with smoking in restaurants and bars. They got rid of it, you were happy, and now you’re upset that people are smoking outside. Where should the smokers smoke? Your solution doesn’t work because you’re still going to have smokers huddled outside because there will be great non-smoking establishments that everyone will want to try.Get over your selfish, entitled opinions and desires. There’s a world out there with hazards. Accept it.

[..YouTube..] I can agree on choise that it’s good but then on this matter it’s really about if you will harm others while doing so and therefor I don’t think it shouldn’t be legal to smoke anywhere other ppl is affected, like bars and restaurants.
Besides this smoking is harmful for you and most ppl want to stop smoking but finds it hard due to lack of pressure for example and this gives a good reson to stop.
Also separating ppl on the smoking factor is that rly something we need in the world?
