One of my pieces for RT: As the U.S. plans to increase troops deployed to the war in Afghanistan – a war with seemingly no end – some still feel quite belligerent and doubtful whether it’s worth even talking to the Taliban.

Music isnt Banned in the Religon, Women do go to schools, and they are not treated like crap, you are being taught this by shitty Media, ive lived in the Middle east for 11 Years, and ive seen whats going on and its nothing like how people portray it, the reason why theyre angry well? what would you do if people killed your fmaily and took your land?

Don’t presume to answer for me. Religion played a role in the attacks, yes. However, their primary motivations were Israel and Saudi Arabia. Justified? No. If Israeli’s flew commercial airplaces into skyscrapers in Damascus, since Syria funds Hezbollah etc, no one would consider it justified. Furthermore, Saudi Arabia welcomed American troops which protected them from Saddam. If I had my way American troops would never step foot on that barbaric region.

That has to be one of the most absurd things I have ever heard. You want to know which demographic is most likely to carry out a terrorist act? Its not the wealthy, educated, or political savvey but rather the most religious. I have numerous studies to back up my claims if you would like them.

Furthermore, the entire reason for focusing the Israeli/Palestian conflict is based on religious/ethnic lines. Far far far more Muslims have been killed by their fellow Muslims than non-Muslims. However, I don’t ever recall a Muslim discussing Darfur and only rarely hear Muslims denounce the attacks in N. Africa, Indonesia, Tawain, China, India, Pakistan, Iraq (Muslim v. Muslim), or Afghanistan (women’s schools etc).

In regards to America’s action 50-60 years ago; Do you have any idea how many countries would be justified in attacking other countries under that logic? Vietnam could target civilians of the U.S. and France and China. Guatemala could attack the U.S. and several European nations. Iran could target Iraq and so could Kuwait. Africa would implode with war as would Asia. Thats ridiculous reasoning.

nato have to concede defeat!! simple as!! its hard to swallow, its embarrasing but theyv been defeated. its time america talked to the taleban cos the amount of deaths is breaking many hearts now. this war has to end and we have to have peace! and it has become obvious peace isnt going to come by shooting every taliban member. the soviets, ancient greeks all failed to win against the afghans the americans will also fail if they carry on killing.

Millions of innocents have been killed or disabled for the rest of life by direct or indirect effect of war in Afghanistan in the last few years…Who is responsible for these atrocities? just Taleban..I am scared of being human being..We all are responsible..We ignore things .When ever a single US soldier dies ,we just take a little notice that some human being is dying there..We do not think others whether they die or live…We have killed more humanity in the name of terrorism.
