Rise, Patriots!

I’ve been covering Occupy Wall Street for weeks now, and many people have been asking my opinion of it, so here it is: it’s great! And stupid! All at once. It’s great because we need an authentic movement to drive new awakenings in our deadened consumerist culture. Good music, real art, new ways of approaching decades-old problems. It’s stupid because many people there are spouting the same crap, that FOXNews is the devil, that Republicans are the problem.

People of America – it is time to unify. Let’s stop pointing fingers at each other, right- and left-style, and realize doing so is only willingly letting ourselves be manipulated by the MAN, by the MACHINE, it is all the same, and against it WE MUST RISE!
