August 6, 2010 229 CommentsHave you guys heard of Freeganism yet? I mean, besides that one time I went to a freegan market. I don’t think I talked too much about freeganism then, though.

Anyhoo – now that you know what it is, I have a confession to make: about one-third of my apartment is furnished with found furniture. Found, as in I FOUND IT IN THE TRASH!
Some people find that gross. I find it economical. And awesome. Free stuff!
I will admit though – I doubt I’ll be picking up any furniture anytime soon, considering bedbugs are taking over the country. I’ve HAD those effers before, people.
You do NOT want them.
So I will say, “No, thank you,” to the free pickings for now, most probably. Unless it’s something really awesome, or just some shelves. I never have enough shelves. I’d pick those up anytime, bugs be damned.
