How to Get into NYC Clubs

This is a super old, pure fun web talk show video with hardly any social issue value (And check out the hair on this Resident!). I wanted to dive into the subculture of clubbers, to see what they’re made of and what makes them tick. I was hoping for some ironic humor, some insight into this popular youth cause. But no. Basically, I found out it costs a lot of money to even get into these stupid clubs where they blast really bad “music” and everyone’s dressed up what they think is to the nines, but really looks more like a lot of zeroes. I made my way down 21st street around midnight to 2AM, and this video was the result. I seriously don’t understand why people would want to go to these clubs, ever. I like to dance, but I mean, this music is just soooo bad, this club music. And guys all rub up on you, and lots of people are all drugged out, and you spend a fortune to get in and drinks all cost at least 10 bucks a pop. WHAT is the appeal? After doing this fun video with no social issue value whatsoever for my web talk show, I still didn’t find out. Anyone have any input here? Why would anyone in society want to go to one of these joints?
