New York on 9/11: Ten Years Later

A decade has gone by since the horrible terrorist attacks on the US, can you believe it? So much has changed in my life, it’s almost impossible to look back and figure out what I can attribute to the events of that day and what is due to the natural passage of time.

As a New Yorker and a journalist, I’ve kind of stayed mum on my own two cents in terms of what exactly happened or who was responsible or what the aftermath wrought. Yes, I’m talking to YOU, truthers. The bottom line is, my gut (and a lot of hard evidence) tells me that terrorists did it. But more than that, I lived through it, so I can’t remain unbiased.

To all of you who tell me I owe it to my city and myself to find out the truth and investigate the truther hypothesis, to explore all the websites with references supporting the same websites, that there is so much proof of an inside job, that blablabla…to all of you, I say, screw you, holmes! You are not me, you don’t know what I went through, how dare you tell me what I need to do about my own feelings, experiences and beliefs. I’m not telling you that you HAVE to read the sites I myself reference, I’m letting you believe what you want. Please, respect me, and do the same.
