What Are YOUR Prejudices?

See “Prejudice” for the inspiration for this li’l social responsibility video. But this little social humor video is basically me asking people what they are prejudice about, and them actually responding and quite easily ‘fessing up to their cultural –ism of choice. That to me broke one of my preconceived notions. I thought for sure no one would cop to being a racist or sexist or…um…ageist on camera. But pretty much every one did, readily so. Even people that I had preconceived social notions about.  I tried to find people who looked like they were subject to prejudice in their lives, or people who looked like they kinda might be prejudice jerks. And I was consistently surprised. Maybe it’s because I was in New York City and not in Los Angeles, where everyone lies to your face and tells you what they think you want to hear in case you work in the industry and could help their career. OK that makes me prejudice against Los Angelites. I’ll work on that later. Anyway, my point was, the experience was awesome! It was a total social experiment gone delightfully wrong. So I suggest watching the video to see what prejudices people copped to, on the spot. It’s pretty interesting, I think.
